AVOID - TERRIBLE SERVICE I just bought a new condo in Boston and the builder/developer agreed to install a washer and dryer. He ordered W/D through Hancock and they sold him a unit which, by their own admission, is barely sold anymore - as its an integrated top loader with minimal capacity (It has the capacity for ~3 hankerchiefs). Hancock easily could have advised the builder that for the same cost (and within the same space constraints), he could have installed a more efficient W/D with at least 50% greater capacity. Hancock refuses to accept any responsibility for selling this undersized, outmoded and likely long in their inventory unit and actually sold the developer 3 of these "hardly ever" sold W/D. Hancocks customer "service" offer was to "help" me by selling me another W/D, with larger capacity but they refused to offer any credit towards the new W/D for the new, unused original unit they dumped on the developer (and by extension dumped on me). By contrast Yale Appliance indicated they would have provided credit to take back the W/D (less a restocking fee) had they initially sold the unit. Hancock should be avoided - their motto "Weve Built Our Reputation on Customer Service" couldnt be in starker contrast to my experience...

I went to Hancock Appliance. to get a fridge, stove and microwave last summer. My sales person was so vey nice and patient with me as i looked at several appliance and asked several questions about the merchandise. he was very professional. i felt so comfortable with him that. i knew my money was being spent in the right place. i am a very happy customer and i have verable advertised for this company. i also like thae fact that Hancock creats a package deal thats afforable for you. Hancock Appliance ROCK ! I am blessed to have found such a place that met my need and was price friendly.. ROCK ON HANCOCK APPLIANCE..Rock on. You are FIVE STARS in my book.

I recently purchased a stove from Hancock TV and I damaged the latch. They sent the most amazing guy out to repair it. He not only was nice, polite and knowledgeable, he even taught me some cool things about stoves. I would not only recommend buying items from Hancock, but also using them for repairs. I had a wonderful experience with my first purchase from this company. I purchased over the counter GE microwave and did the entire purchase over the phone. (I did visit the show room first but was not ready to buy) The sales person was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The installer was the best. Extremely neat, organized and respectful of my property. Took away my old applience no charge. I will purchase my next appliance from this company.

I have never been disappointed with this company..Their prices are competitive with all the larger appliance outlets. They deliver when they say they will and they take away your old one free of charge, and dont just leave it on the sidewalk........I bought a refrigerator from them in 1970 and never replaced it until last summer. Also a stove...sales people are helpful and the delivery guys are great..........why go elsewhere.

Im having a bad experience with this place. I ordered a fridge for my mom (shes been without for 3 weeks) and so far have been told its backordered now and it will be an additional week (no guarantee even then). I am supposed to get a rebate on the product but if its that late it will be past the date allowed. Very frustrating. thinking I should have just gone with one of the bigger stores that has more available inventory.

I have bought several appliances at Hancock TV, over the last couple of years. It has been a great experience from beginning to end. The sales people were very helpful, the delivery guys were great. The prices were lower than I expected. I own a two family and have replaced two washing machines and a refrigerator. I recommend HTA, and will purchase any additional appliances that I need. I would give them 5 stars.

We have bought several appliances here and call them for all appliance service. Even though its not cheap, I always feel like they have integrity and are being straight-forward, which is a lot more than I can say for the other places weve used for repair. The people they employ seem to have been there for a while and seem to know what they are doing. Ill use them next time.

Hancock TV & Appliance are the best! I have had nothing but great experiences with them! From dishwashers and refrigerators to laundry machines, Ive gotten it all with them! When Ive had to get service on my dishwasher, they are right out and Russ is the best! Great attitude, honest and went above and beyond! Great team over there!

Had one of their service people out to repair our fridge. He said the only thing that was wrong with it was that we werent shutting the door properly. He oiled the door hinges and cheerly sent us a bill for $120. Well suffice it to say that wasnt all that was wrong. And now everything in my fridge and freezer has gone bad.

I went into Hancock looking to buy a dryer. The sales associate was informative and put no pressure on me to buy anything. When I did decide to buy, he was nice enough to give me a discount off the floor model, something I did not expect. I highly recommend this store and will shop here again in the future.

Ken is wonderful. I was doing my kitchen over and he walked me through all the pros and cons of each type. He did not try to push anything on my that was too expensive just laid out the facts. He also helped me fill out Rebate information. Great experience. Would not go anywhere else.
