worst experience! im 19 years old and i was so excited to be shopping for my first car. i had worked a full-time job all summer long to save money and thought the time was right to start shopping. when the time came i saved up $3,000 and i was browsing auto-matics website to see their car selection. i found one that i liked, the 2001 toyota camry. i called them and asked if it was still available and they said it was. i made my way all the way down there to see this car and others in the lot. once i got there and test drove the car i decided to buy it. i went in the office to talk about paperwork and price. Tom and i spoke and he told me my monthly payments with the down payment would be $125, which i thought was great, he then told me my insurance would be about $200. sine i didnt have all the money with me, i left a deposit on the car of $1000 and told him i would come back the next day to put the rest down. the next day i went back with all my money (in cash) and was ready to sign the papers. i sat down with pen in hand ready to take on this exciting moment in my life. Tom came in and said some things have changed, 1. my car payment would be $300 and 2. my insurance would be $400. i was completely shocked! how did everything all of a sudden get doubled!!! and on top of that he said instead of my down payment of $3000 i needed to put down more money (an extra $2000) for my payments to be 300. i told him that thats not what we talked about and if he can call the bank back and see if theres any way to get more money.. he called the bank and had a friendly (laughing and giggling) conversation with the banker which made me think they were close friends and was probably scheming. they hung up and he told me the bank couldnt give me more.. i sat there jaw wide open. i started talking to my mom about what we should do. Tom looked at me with with a blank stare like there was nothing behind his eyes. i got annoyed and told him im not taking the car and i want my deposit back. he gave me the deposit back and as i was walking to my moms car he was running behind me. what do you think he wanted to tell me? nothing other than asking me to see another i can afford.. what kind of car was it? it was a broken down camry from the 90s, side all scratched, mirror broken, carpet missing, torn seats, and it was in the back of the lot near the dumpster! oh and by the way, the 2001 toyota camry was nowhere in the lot (makes me believe they already sold it) i was horrified and just walked away. this was the worst car buying experience and thank you sweet jesus i found the car of my dreams.... somewhere else!

All I can say is, if you purchase a car here INSIST on getting the inspection sticker yourself. Someone affiliated (they wouldnt release who) with the dealership when pulling in my new truck to the inspection bay "smoked" my rear cab, its door and rear quarter panel. I hadnt even had the vehicle released to me. Mau instantly went into damage control and tried to low ball and buy me off (for cash). The body shop I saw said it was 1200$ of damage. Mau the dealerahip employee said "it was no big deal and his guy had it worked out to $300.00. I needed the vehicle the day the incident happened so I called my lawyer and insurance co. It took Tom (the owner) over 10 days to get in touch with me. Next thing you know, im getting emails that say urgent, which was ironic to me. Tom produced lies about not being around, about getting married recently and "having alot on his plate." He fumbled an fumbled and yet refused to call me or deal with me directly in any way. So...had to get insurance company involved. These guys have some nice stuff but you have to keep an eye on them. Caveat emptor! In the end I paid for the vehicle with cash and when the transaction was over, I was no longer a priority. Almost hilariously, Tom did his best to flip the whole thing on me when I mentioned diminished value, the real work costs etc. All in all...Keep a clear eye. Will be following up with the BBB when all the insurance stuff filters through.

Warning if you buy a vehicle from auto-matic you better check the car-fax i bought an 08 mustang convertible from the show room it was supposed to be a one owner with no accident when i signed the loan papers they put the car-fax in all the paperwork and i signed away not looking at the car-fax they come across as an honest dealer but that was not the case last week i was going to trade the mustang at another dealer so when i got back from the test drive the sales person asked me if i knew that this mustang was in an accident and my jaw dropped i had to check the vin# twice i could not believe it. so i contacted the sales person and his excuse was that they provide a car-fax to every customer so another words i know whats in the car-fax but if you dont look at the car-fax you are on your own, they knew that the car was in an accident but they are not going to tell you that i bought this car for my daughter at the time of the purchase you want to do the right thing of course its for your daughter so you sign away now i have to live with my mistake by signing paperwork with out looking on what im signing.theres no way i would of bought this car if i knew it was in an accident.Buyer Beware vehicles are certified by auto-matic......

Found a jeep I was interested in and he showed me a price after trading my car in but I couldnt test drive it the first day due to breaks that werent working. So they said they would fix it over the weekend. I said dont run my credit until we know for sure this is what I want and he did anyways and ruined my credit for no reason. I went back Monday and test drove it and got ready to sign some papers and they decided to raise the price 2 thousand dollars more. So in reality they wanted to charge me the original price and take my car for free. Terrible experience I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I found a better jeep in better condition for lower and with a better experience. This place is awful.

I needed a car asap and looked at all surrounding places, I had a car in mind but couldnt find anywhere else. I decided to swing by Automatic just to take a look and an hour later i had already put a deposit on my car. At the time I was dealing with Mauro Moradas and he reassured me of my purchase, he really knows his cars and was very helpful. He got me a great finance for it and 4 days later I was already driving my new car. It was the first time I purchased from them and Im sure it wont be the last. I wouldnt let what other say influence your decision, go there if your looking for a car they know their stuff.
