I dont like to write a bad review about any business unless it is well deserved and unfortunately Ashley Ford deserves this bad review. I negotiated a price on a used vehicle with a salesman. When I went back to do the paperwork I was told by the salesman that he could not honor the price HE offered me because he didnt have authorization from his sales manager to offer me the vehicle at the price we had already agreed on...strike 1. I was told the dealership would meet me half way on the discount I negotiated. At this point im not happy about the deceptive move, but to show they appreciated me as a customer I was offered 2 free oil changes....really oil changes instead of saving hundreds of dollars in the price I had previously worked out. I told them I could change the oil myself for $20. I swallowed my pride so I could get the car and just be on my way. I was informed by the finance manager that my payments were also going to be significantly higher than the payment amount I was quoted, because it was initially just "a quote"...strike 2. Then when the paperwork was almost complete I was asked to sign the mileage verification and noticed the vehicle had 5000 miles more on the odometer than was advertised on their website. I showed the finance manager the picture i had from the website and he said the car was used by an employee and they never updated the mileage. I told them I wanted more money off the vehicle and they refused stating they were selling the car at the absolute lowest price possible and couldnt go any lower. The finance manager was trying to rush so fast through the paperwork hoping I wouldnt realize I was lied to about the price and mileage that he wouldnt even respond to me questioning the discrepencies. That was it for me, I stood up and picked up my $10,000 cash deposit from his desk and said I changed my mind and walked out. An hour later I received a call from the salesman telling me he talked to the owner of the dealership and would sell me the car for a much lower price because they didnt want to lose my business! Is this how these salesmen and managers are told to deceive hard working people just to make a sale??? Im convinced it is....they lost my business and any future business from me or anyone I know that asks me their thoughts on Ashley Ford. What they tried to do to me was a low unethical shady sales ploy. I was insulted and disgusted in a company I once had high praise for.

If I could literally give 0 stars I would. Previously we had purchased two vehicles from them so I figured they would appreciate a repeat customer. Unfortunately not. I had been working with a salesman and they found a car at auction but come to find out they wanted to raise the price by 7k because "thats what they deemed it worth." I had asked to see the final invoice bid to see what I would be spending as dropping close to 30k for a car I think they would have the courtesy to do so. I was told "thats out of my pay grade to tell you that" it was caked with so much bullshit that I told them I refuse to be bent over on this and Im not standing for it. On top of all of that they thought I would jump at that price for the car and took my social and fathers and I went back the next morning and there it was out in the open for everyone to see. I loved how he told me to do my homework and make a decision of what I wanted to do. I called a few buddies at other dealers and they told me they were screwing me and to shut down the negotiation. I will 100% tell everyone I know to not do business with them for car sales. They think by dishonesty they can make a quick buck. Jokes on them, they lost potentially 30k and a second car sale from my father. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau in hopes that no one has to go through the same experience that I had to endure.

The short version, Best Dealership I have ever stepped in to. They treat you like a person and not like a paycheck. I recommend everyone to this place now! As a college student I thought I would have a hard time finding a dealer that would take me seriously. At Ashley Ford they went above and beyond to get my car picked out and ready to go. When I came in to have them look at my trade, the manager immediately called someone who had taken the day off to help me close. The man, Gary, was very friendly and didnt seem to mind coming in. I was originally told on a Wednesday that I could get my car on the following Tuesday if we closed on the Friday that week. I went in at 4:30 on Friday and they had processed everything before the registry closed at 5! I walked out with my car on Friday instead of waiting. I spoke with almost everyone at this dealership on the sales side and it was awesome! I didnt think a dealership like this would exist. Everyone was nice and friendly, a real family business style way of doing things. They didnt offer me anything silly, they told me how it is and now I have a 2013 Ford Focus SE and I love it! If you want to feel appreciated as a customer, make sure you go to Ashley Ford!

Dear Mr. Bancroft, This letter is to compliment your staff at Ashley Ford and, in particular, Wayne, your assistant service manager and Bill, your tech, for the kind, courteous and professional service for the manner in which they handled our two on the road episodes several weeks ago. And even though he did no sell us a new car, Seth was good company while we waited for a diagnosis. My spouse were driving from Hyannis back home to New Jersey on Sept. 10 when I noticed a strange sound coming from our 2002 Ford Explorer at about 2:45 pm. A Google search gave me the name of your dealership, I was told to come right over. The result was the need for a right wheel bearing and, then a drive shaft. We compliment Wayne on the manner in which he handled our needs, including connecting us with an Enterprise rental car to drive back to NJ. Five days later, on the way back, service discovered an ignition coil had to be changed (thankfully only 20 min.) Its nerve wracking enough to have automobile trouble on the road. Ashley Ford and Wayne provided us with the knowledge that our car was being handled properly. Sincerely, Charles Wrubel

Brought in vehicle for transmission issue which its been taken in twice before for.Known problem with the dual clutch transmission. Pick up my car and they tell me did a software flash or whatever you call it.So needless to say the problem is still there. I also asked them to take a look at one of my bearings and they charge me 111 to look at it and tell me there is no problem. Im sorry but I just dont have faith in these guys.Should of known better after they installed a prior bearing on the vehicle incorrectly and had to wait an extra 2 hours from a previous visit. I will be going to a different Ford dealer to have my transmission looked at again. Also I am very disappointed in Ford for not taking care of this transmission issue correctly already. This a huge issue with these transmission. Im a Ford guy through and through but this is lea ing an awful bad taste I. My mouth towards Ford!!!
