VERY RUDE STAFF!!! I am in a wedding in August of 2012 and the bride found a dress from the Dessy website that she wanted for a bridesmaid dress. I contacted the local retailers carrying this line and Pearl was one of them. The dress that we were looking for is a convertable dress, meaning that it can be changed into many different styles. I contacted Pearl via email and several days later I was informed that they do not carry the dress because it is "not flattering". Seriously??? It is a CONVERTABLE dress. You make it flattering to your specific body type by CONVERTING it. The email was just very rude and I was a bit insulted by the fact that the customer cannot make the determination about how flattering a dress is or is not. FYI, to anyone looking for the Twist Wrap dress by Dessy, Marielle Creations in Rocky Hill has is and their staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly and this dress IS in fact, VERY flattering.

I really liked this place. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They were very attentive, even the seamster was there and gave his opinion based on my body type. The place itself was in a converted factory and was very clean and gorgeous. The gown choices were clean and priced well. Down sides were that the neighborhood wasnt wonderful (no worries, though, there is a really nice parking lot) and there wasnt many full ballgowns. I ended up trying a lot of mermaids, which I also liked a lot so no biggy. I havent bought my gown yet since I cant decide on ball gown versus mermaid (not because of the store), but I would go back to them in a heart beat.

Ryan and her staff at Pearl are fantastic! I can call anytime with my questions and she is very accommodating. There is a new web site that they just launched a few months ago that is also helpful. My sister and I both went to Pearl, and it is where I bought my wedding gown and plan on purchasing my attendants outfits there as well. Another top reason is because the staff at Bridal Barn is pushy and not very personable. GO TO PEARL!

I went into Pearl searching for my wedding dress and I did not leave disappointed. Carrie, our associate, was PHENOMENAL! She was very knowledgeable and gave her honest opinion(s) in a kind way. She made the experience incredible for myself and my guests. The boutique itself is cute, very well lit and the changing rooms are large. Being in Pearl made me feel like I was on one of those wedding TV shows. I highly recommend it!

I found my gown here on the first try, as did my mom for her mother-of-the-bride dress. The owner and consultants were kind, and gave honest feedback, but only when asked, which I greatly appreciate. Located in a re-purposed mill, Pearl even has the "feel" of a bridal shoppe. Ive also been on the other end as a bridesmaid and had a seamless experience then too.
