So this going to be long but people need to know what i went threw....just to be aware spelling is proble wrong in some place.. So a while back for my senior year of high school i purchase a Sony vaio laptop. it was what i need to help me get threw school little did i know the sony laptop was discontinued a week later, may i say it was not just the laptop but the entire line of laptop sony had completely stopped making laptops all together. After a week in a half went by my laptop started bogging down, was super slow, constantly restarted, freezed a lot as well as the fan was constantly running at a high speed,and ect. Im 18 and i know a really good decent amount of stuff when it comes to computers, so I figured computer was defective and it need to be fixed. So i called bestbuy and they said all you have to do is bring the laptop in and well let you get a new one so i thought oh thats great. So i came in the following day went to the customer service place told them that i was dissatisfied with my laptop and that it wasnt working and they said oh go grab a laptop to replace it, so i walk over and ask a kid who was about 20 or so and pointed to the laptop, he said are you replacing it and i said ya. As i start walking over the kid then follows me to where the customer service center is and then questions me and ask to see the laptop, He said oh this cant be any value sony hasnt made laptops it forever he opened it and saw it was brand new sony vaio flip. First he had no right to question me he worked in the computer center so why did he come all the way to where i was going and pretty much acting like a geek squad tech??? so he then tells me i cant replace it that i need to send it in. Long story short i sent it in 3 times. My problem did not get solved. I then got a call from a geek squad manager at the best buy and told me to come in and hed look at it. so i came in he said that hed send it to sony and get it fixed. I got it a few days later and it worked....for a few days. i called him up and notified him of the problem. At this point were best friends cuz iv been in best buy with this laptop and had so many problems. He then says look were gonna get this fixed for you bud. i give him my laptop and in exchange for store credit. I got what my laptop was paid for in store credit and he said you have this amount to spend on this card so pick out the new laptop and i was really relived that my problem was solved. The manager was so understandable and had a great personality so he understood what i was going threw. he acknowledged that constantly going back to the store and having them send it back all the time, that their was no need for that and his attitude was always were gonna get this fixed for you and was on your side. My first impression when i sent in the first couple times, i was pissed because i still had my protection plan and i still kept my receipt and even the box. And i still had the trouble that i had but after this Manager came to my rescue and all the problems were fixed and that how every one at best buy and even other stores should be. So after this whole thing was over i came out with a changed mind about best buy and new laptop that replaced my pooped out one. so if you guys have problems ask for Tim the Geek squad he will give you the 100 % and the best he can do to make the people satisfied

I have always talked highly of best buys insurance but when it came time for me to count on it. The best buy store let me down big time. I have never ever in my life left a store so angry feeling like i was just robbed and they were glad to take my money each month knowing my insurance or warrenty i bought for my product was no good. They informed me on purchase if anything were to happen to my product within the 2yr warrenty i had purchased that i coukd just bring it in and exchange it for another similar product. When my product failed i came in and they refused to honor the warrenty as i had already paid a year an 6moth for it a total of $160 taken out of my account knowing the warranty was no good. I asked why and they mentioned they dont tell customers this but usually after a year on the warranty they dont accept it anymore. And i knew then that they played me good. I was furious knowing they still take out money every month and its not honored. I requested my money back and they said they could do nothing but to call the corporate number to fight it. I must have been transfered to 10 different departments because nobody wanted to deal with the issue . Only to be told the best they could do is give me 2months of the warranty back and cancel it. A total of 20 bucks needed to be returned as i pay about 10 bucks a month. When i checked my account they only put back 8 bucks as 4 bucks each month what a freaking joke. DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY FROM THIS FREAKING STORE. YOUR PRODUCT ALREADY COMES WITH A 1 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY SO THERE IS NO NEED TO BUY INTO BEST BUYS CROOKEDNESS. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO MAD BEFORE THAT I HAVE WANTED TO DRIVE MY CAR STRAIGHT THROUGH THE BUILDING. THANK GOD I HAD A FRIEND THAT DAY TO CALM ME DOWN AS I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE NEWS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM GEEK SQUAD OR ANY WARRANTY THEY OFFER THEY WILL LIE STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE AND GKADLY TAKE YOUR MONEY. SO THANKBYOU BEST BUY FOR MAKING ME THE HAPPIEST CUSTOMER MOST LOYAL TURN INTO A PERSON ADVOCATING TO GET RID OF BEST BUY I TRUELY HATE YOUR STORE NOW I STILL WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR IN YOUR STORE BUT ILL TRY TO HOLD MYSELF BACK IN THE MEANTIME.

(TIM THE APPLIANCE MANAGER) The Worst experience EVER!!! Let me explain, so I was at Walmart this morning looking at the car stereos for my boat just looked by didnt buy because I needed to do more research about the stereo that Im buying, after I did my research I decided on the one I want to buy so I figure instead of going back to Walmart and dealing with the busyness of the store , Ill go to my electronic place that I always do business with as far as electronics, so I picked the stereo that I want and went to the cashier so I can pay for it and show her Walmart price so she can match it (as they all say we will match the competitions price), she proceeded to help me but she needed a managers help to override the price, thats when my experience took a down hill turn when this guy TIM "Appliance Manager" He said that he cant price match it because it is from the internet not the store I said to him that I was just there just dont feel the need to go back there and buy it and I want to give Best Buy the business because they are so knowledgeable, right in the middle of me talking to him he was so RUDE he started to walk away and just left me there, I WAS SO SHOCKED because I never expected that from Best Buy employees especially a MANAGER.. Someone need to pull this guy aside and teach a little bit about customer service that I expect from BEST BUY.
