I called because Microsoft 10 had automatically downloaded to my computer and it showed that i had no wireless interenet, although when I first came in with the update I was able to use the wireless, and then it cut out and showed my wireless was there but i could not connect. So i called my wireless provider, naturally I had already done the restarting of routers and all that good stuff, EXCEPT restarting the computer, so when I restarted the computer the wireless capability completely went away, it was as if we had never had wireless before. Mind you this is happening at work, where I need to be connected to the internet, so I called Nerds to go at around 11:00am, by the time i gave all my information he told me he had a guy that would call a half hour before he gets here which would be around 12pm, but by that time it was 11:30 and he just said oh well its 11:30, hell be there around 12pm. Which was perfectly fine. The guy arrived promptly at 12pm, he told me we could try to do it one of two ways, either stick with the upgrade of windows 10 and he could try to get the wireless back, or go back to the windows 8 (i think) that we had. I told him lets try to stick with the upgrade, (why not?). Well, that didnt work, he was able to connect to the wireless but then when he restarted the computer the same thing happened again. So we wound up going back to the old windows I had, he made some adjustments so that upgrades or downloads could not automatically happen they would need my approval. And then at the end took my PC outside and cleaned the whole dusty thing (it was bad, probably hadnt been moved in about 7 years). He was very knowledgeable, let me know step by step what he was doing, explained to me what was going on, and the fact that they were able to get to me with in an hour of me calling just spoke volumes about their customer service.

I called these guys to see if I could purchase a new computer and have it set up and installed at my house little did I know they do not service my area and that still didnt stop them from trying to help me and answer all my questions in detailed I cant wait till they come to my neck of the woods if they ever do I will use them and recommend them to everyone. Great service guys keep up all the hard work its hard to find a good business these days. Just fantastic customer service unbelievable!

Very reliable, prompt and expert service. Fixed issues with my computer I was not aware of as well as the ones I made the call for. Optimized my connectivity and search options and made sure all of my essential programs are updated to the most current version. Also gave me a heads up on what changes to expect in the near future from some software providers and their related programs. Have been using Ners to Go for four years and have had uniformly excellent experience each time.

Came here a while back to get my iPod 2nd generation screen replaced, the glass was broken, but the digitizer and everything else worked fine. When I got it back, the glass was fixed, but they had broken the digitizer. The screen was all white and completely unusable. I told them about this, and asked them to fix it and they tried to CHARGE ME $40 FOR IT! Unbelievable, I will never use this service again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone else!

I bought an old Windows 98 machine with a floppy Drive so it would run a program I had via floppy. I couldnt get it to connect and communicate with my Panasonic printer but, the techs got it fixed fast and for a reasonable price and even tested it out with my printer before I picked it up to make sure it would print. Everything works fine and id use them again.

Pleasant people. Convenient location. $150 for basic service diagnosis and virus removal seemed excessive. I make that statement by direct comparison to tech repair shops in San Diego Ca that literally replaced a cracked screen that I incurred during travel - on a while-you-wait basis for $99. Oh well -welcome to Guilford, CT - home of overpriced everything.

The tech person arrived on time and was able to find out what the problem was in very little time. And said what needed to be needed/done and I agreed to what needed to be done to have a new PC installed and to have my old HD fixed. and I should have my files from it uploaded to my new PC in a few days. And I learned my lesson always back your files up.

This company saved my life, or at least my laptops life! I was desperate to get my laptop working after I got attacked by a virus, and the Nerds fixed it in less than 2 days. I practically live on my laptop and I use it for school, so I was very grateful to get it back in working condition and not lose any of my stuff from the computer. Highly recommend!
