The moment I walked into Firas Yousifs boutique, I felt comfortable. It is a beautiful space with a variety of pretty samples to browse and try on. It was hard not to feel at home due to the space and Firass personable demeanor. Firas himself is clearly very knowledgeable about fabrics and dress designs. I told Firas what I was looking for and after trying on a few samples Firas had a vision for my dress that was beyond what I had ever imagined. Firas put the design down on paper and when I saw it, I knew it would be my wedding dress! After settling on a design, Firas was extremely clear about the process of making the dress, the fittings and any alterations that may be needed. Firas was very specific about the timelines and delivered within those timelines. I had looked at a number of boutiques and big box stores and saw nothing that truly fit my vision. At the other boutiques, the other designers didnt seem to have any interest in helping me nor were as personable as Firas. I would recommend Firas Yousif Originals to anyone whos looking for a custom wedding dress and is willing to be open to design suggestions. Thank you for all of your help Firas, the dress was perfect!

My sister selected Firas Yousif to design a custom-made gown for her wedding this year, and she looked stunning! Firas took an outdated 90s-era a-line sketch my sister had considered wearing as a teenager and modernized it into a flattering one-of-a-kind piece. I tagged along for her design and fitting appointments with Firas at his well-located showroom on the first block of Newbury Street. We knew we were in good hands with Firass careful attention to detail, from selecting an exquisite silk fabric and pairing it with a shimmery lace overlay, to delicately crafting the dress to flatter her figure. The dazzling dress was ready weeks before the wedding. She received so many compliments! I returned to Boston a few weeks later for Firass recent runway show with some NYC fashionistas, and we were all very impressed with the 2015 Collection!

Firas specializes in custom couture Bridal and Evening gowns, whose creativity and beauty defy proper description. I went in to pick up some jewelry at Just Bands and remembered I needed lengerie for my sister. The ladies at the desk sent me to Marie and they were very right. Marie was very helpful and even switched out the coordinating underwear for something I knew shed prefer. It she doesnt like it, we can exchange it, but Im sure shell love it, its perfect!
