Judy is a bridal gown angel! My Mom and I had our first appointment ever to shop for a bridal gown in January of this year (2011). Our first stop, The Bridal Secret. I had never tried on a wedding gown before and was a bit apprehensive. Im not a dress person to begin with, Im more of a jeans and a t-shirt kind of gal. Once we arrived at the salon, Judy and her lovely staff greeted us and had us fill out a form and gave us number cards 1-5 to start shopping for dresses that I would like to try on as a starting point. Her shop is immaculate! Judy and her staff assisted us with a few of our selections, because it was hard for me to choose just 5 gowns to start with, they were all so amazing. The first 4 were beautiful, but the 5th dress was the one. I said, "Yes to the dress" on the 5th try, at the 1st shop we had ever been to, amazing!! I was beyond ecstatic. My Mom couldnt believe it. The dress was exactly what I had been dreaming of. My Mom and I thought the dress shopping would be the most time consuming and frustrating part of the wedding planning. From the moment I pur on that dress, Judy and I were like 2 peas in a pod! I love that lady! I had a little bit of a wedding crisis and had to bump my wedding date up 4 months, but she stayed completely calm, while I was going a mile a minute and losing my mind! I didnt think it was possible to love that dress more than I already did but every fitting I had, I grew more in love with my gown and with Judy!! She is so knowledgeable about eveything that has to do with wedding gowns and fashion. I felt so comfortable with her, that I completely put all my trust in her, and boy did it pay off. She made that gown fit like a glove, it was the most comfortable dress I have ever worn, she made it so easy for my MOH and BM to bustle me and she made me feel stunning! My wedding was in June (2011) and my Mom and I still say that the best part of the entire wedding process, besides the actual wedding day, was the day we bought the gown in January, because we had such a wonderful experience at The Bridal Secret. Not only did I leave the shop with the most incredible dress, I left with an incredible friend too.. Judy you rock! You made my wedding day perfect and I cant thank you enough for everything you did for me.

First off, I cannot say ENOUGH about how wonderful Judy is!!! Her gorgeous and impeccably CLEAN shop, The Bridal Secret, is immediately impressive upon walking in. She and her staff are top notch in the industry and her attention to detail is stunning. Second, her prices are amazing!!! They are BRAND NEW DESIGNER dresses for so so much less than the big chain stores. She also has a full range of sizes from Petite Pixie all the way to Gorgeous Goddess. I was worried that as a "plus size" bride, I wouldnt be able to find anything, but I should never have given it a second thought! Not only did she have my size (and many that were larger), there was such a vast range of styles! I tried on five or six dresses and loved every one more than the last! Besides, with Judys expertise as a seamstress and dressmaker, she is able to hand-tailor every dress to fit a brides body perfectly. Now, I have to mention that she also SAVED my veil. The story goes as such: I bought some fabric and my aunt made the veil for me. I showed Judy and tried it on with my dress, only to find out that my aunt had completely butchered the lace that I bought and sewed it completely wrong!!! Thank GOODNESS I showed it to Judy; she completely revamped the veil and fixed it for me so that it was prettier and more elegant than I could have ever imagined. Finally, Judys drive to go above and beyond what is expected of a great vendor is astounding. She continually impressed me with her knowlegde, skill, professionalism and most important, kindness. In short, if a bride doesnt call The Bridal Secret to be pampered by Judy during an individual consulation appointment, she is doing herself a great dis-service. There are certainly other bridal shops, but there is only ONE Bridal Secret and Judy is one of a kind!!!

After having visited multiple bridal salons (including some that seemed chaotic and stressed), I still hadnt found anything that really spoke to me. My first Bridal Secret appointment was a breath of fresh air - the store was quiet (just me and my family), organized, clean and well-lit. First I filled out a short questionnaire about my style/budget/timeline, and then I was asked to browse and pick out a few dresses. I was impressed by the quantity, quality and range of styles! Judy evaluated the questionnaire and my reactions to the dresses I picked out, and then she picked a few out for me to try. I never ever thought Id fall in love with a pure white strapless dress, but Judy is really the Dress Whisperer! She knew exactly how to flatter my body and make me feel gorgeous while staying true to my style (and within my budget parameters). I should have come here first! My wedding was this past weekend, and the dress was perfect. Judy did a fantastic job at the alterations and coordinated the steam/press for me. I would highly recommend Judy and The Bridal Secret, especially to brides who want personalized and experienced attention in a calm setting, and those looking to maximize their budget (designer quality at off-the-rack prices) and/or who have a constrained timeline (no having to wait months for the dress to be made!). I met with Judy on August 1st after my fiance accidentally found pictures on our computer of me trying on my wedding dress! Since we are both superstitious, we decided I needed a new dress. This was the BEST mistake!!! I tried on about 15 dresses that day - I had the whole store to myself. Judy and Jill were so helpful!! I was in between 2 dresses and Judy helped me make a decision. I found "the" dress that day!!! It is honestly the most BEAUTIFUL thing I have ever worn!!! It is the most gorgeous ivory, lace dress with a train and a very flattering low V back. (I LOVED my dress so much - I ended up losing about 20 lbs because I was so motivated by this dress!) I had 3 fittings with Judy - she was wonderful through the whole process!! She had to take it in 3 times and it fit me perfectly on my wedding day! Overall, the price was fantastic (I dont know why I bothered with Davids Bridal in the first place!), the dress was beyond gorgeous and the fittings were so easy and stress-free! Judy really knows wedding dresses - every dress I tried on was gorgeous! I HIGHLY recommend The Bridal Secret!! This was by far the BEST part of my wedding planning!!

Just 2 weeks before my New Years Eve wedding last year, I was in a complete panic because I had purchased 2 wedding veils (NOT from the Bridal Secret) and hated both of them. I thought for sure I was out of time to try purchasing a third and would have to make the best of one of them. I decided to give it one last try and send a message to Judy, with my fingers crossed! Later that day she had messaged me back explaining that she thought that a calf length veil would be perfect and that she could make one for me in time for my big day! I wanted cathedral length, and wasnt sure about the calf length at first but she suggested I come in with my gown and I could try one on. So I did and she was so right! Not only did she make the veil in less than 2 weeks, she HAND DELIVERED it to me at work! I was so upset about not having the right veil Judy totally saved the day! I wish I had known about her earlier and purchased my dress from her as well! I will refer every bride I know to her! She is a wonderful and professional business woman who really understands the needs of a bride.
