If I could give 0 stars I would. From the beginning this place was a terrible experience. For starters their hours are very scattered, and dont bother leaving a voice mail because they wont return your call. Our party came in two separate groups. The first round of girls found a couple dresses they thought would work and then advised the rest of the the girls, me included, to make the long ride to try the dresses on as well. We made an appointment to come try the dress on. The manager was less than enthusiastic and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. Turns out we loved the dress and were 90% sure we going to get the dress, we just needed to finaliz our decision with the rest of the party. The manager said she wouldnt take our measurements until we purchased the dress, which is rude. We convinced her we were sure we would by the dress but didnt want to make another trip there to simply get our measurements, she huffed and puffed but finally took our measurements. To make this long story short we placed our orders via phone, as we needed to have our order in by 5/15 (Friday). I tried calling Wednesday (but they are closed) to tell them that the wedding was cancelled and we NEED to cancel the order. When we finally got in touch by noon on Thursday, the manager had ZERO empathy and took less than one second to decide that we were SOL! Really??!!?? less than a week later, its obvious the dresses werent even started yet! I called the Vendor myself to see if they could cancel the order, and very kind lady was sympathetic and explained that it was out of their hands and they would try to contact Pure Bliss to see if they would stop the order an refund our money as our dresses were not in production. Needless to say this heartless and money hungry company refused to refund and now I will be stuck with a dress that has no purpose in my life, and will be next to impossible to resell. If you want friendly, service during this beautiful, but stressful time I highly recommend you look else where!

I went to this store to order a bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding. When I walked in, I showed them the ID code/number of the dress straight from my phone (meaning straight from the bride). They showed me the appropriate dress, I tried it on, they took my measurements (and I when I say "they" I mean a ditzy girl who couldnt have been more than 16). Great. Only, when I came to get it a few months later (and only 2 weeks from the wedding) they had the WRONG dress. They said it was my fault, even though I tried to explain over and over that it couldnt be my fault that the wrong code was written down since I literally tried on the right dress. If I gave them the wrong code, how is it possible that they managed to show me the correct dress? ITS NOT. THATS HOW. I had to pay an additional $80 to get a stock dress express shipped to the store so Id have it in time, in a size larger than what THEY had measured me for. Low and behold, they had actually measured me incorrectly (I havent been a size zero since freshman year of high school) and so even if they had not messed up the paperwork and given me the wrong dress, it wouldnt have fit anyways because they sized me wrong. Never ever, ever go to this store. There was no reason I should have had to pay for their mistake, yet nothing I said could persuade them to see their error. Not only were they incompetent, but they didnt care at all for the stress, inconvenience, or money they caused me. What a failure of a business. My biggest regret was that I was so upset and devastated at what the wrong dress would mean to the bride that I couldnt make myself be a nightmare and actually force them to pay for their screw up. Lessons were learned.

I went to Pure Bliss with the intention of browsing bridesmaid dresses, so that I could find something that I liked that I could show my bridesmaids. Granted, I did not have an appointment and should have called ahead to let them know that I would be stopping by. When I entered the saleswoman did not make eye contact with me at all, so I looked through some dresses. None of the dresses on display were what I wanted, and I saw some other dresses in another room. So I asked the woman if I could look at those. She replied, "Do you have an appointment? You cant look at anything if you dont have an appointment with a wedding consultant! We dont have one today until 4 so youll have to come back. Would you like to make an appointment?!" I thought to myself, if you are going to be that rude about it then I dont want anything to do with you. Strangely, when I went to other dress shops I encountered helpful friendly salespersons, despite not having an appointment. My suggestion is to use Pure Bliss if you want to deal with rude, snobby salespersons, and a company that has policies that make life more difficult for the bride rather than easier. It is too bad this rating system does not have negative stars.

I had the best experience here! I got my wedding gown, bolero, veils and bridesmaid dresses from Pure Bliss. Getting my dress was on the top of my wedding To Do list and I ended up buying it 2 years in advance... 2 months after my wedding and I am still in love with my dress. Maxine was my consultant and helped find the perfect ballgown and bolero for the ceremony and reception - I would highly recommend working with her as she is patient yet decisive! Fast forward to a few months before the wedding and my dress alterations were perfect, especially the bustle and side seams that I needed let out. Consultant Tiffany, offered to come in last minute to help me a few days before our wedding - I had a very specific vision for my veils and when I changed my mind a week before, she and Jeanine accommodated without hesitation and helped me choose 3 (yes 3!) veils to wear. If youre looking for a special appointment and a one-stop shop for everything bridal - you need to go here (there are endless racks of bridal gowns and bridesmaids in different price points). Not to mention, Jeanine, the owner is warm and so knowledgeable about alterations and designers.

Two of my friends and I drove up to this place from the Lawrence area and regret making this trip 100%. To start off, we walk in and the woman working looks at us and doesnt even say hello. As we were looking around the store she didnt ask once if we needed help with anything but instead talked on the phone with her friend the entire time and was swearing her head off... talk about unprofessional! More importantly the dresses there are in terrible shape. Most all of them were torn in different places and missing beads all over. Lastly, while we were there a school was planning a fashion show and was using the dresses from this shop. So there were about 12 other girls fighting over dressing rooms in this tiny little room while my friends and I are trying to look at dresses as well. It was just a big mess and I cant believe the store manager allowed that. Overall, it was horrible and I have nothing nice to say about this place... Dont even bother making the trip.
