CONSUMERS BEWARE BEFORE GOING TO THIS STORE. First, you need to know that this is not a Verizon Wireless owned store; and MOST CRITICAL you are likely to pay MORE for your phone than you would if you purchased it directly from Verizon, or at a company-owned store. This store is actually owned by a company called Cellular Sales. Here is what happened to me. I stopped today to look at Verizon Cellphones (the store looks pretty much like any other Verizon store). I was led to believe that buying a cellphone at this location would be the same price as purchasing it from Verizon Wireless online, on the phone, or from a Verizon owned store. They quoted me a price for a phone that turned out to be $134 MORE than what Verizon Wireless sells the phone for. I found this out when I called to tell my wife what phone I had ordered, and how much we would pay each month for it. She quickly checked online and told me that this same phone appeared to be much cheaper on the Verizon website. I called Verizon and confirmed that Cellular Sales had quoted me a price 23% higher than the price Verizon told me on the phone. In addition to the base price, Cellular Sales also charged me a $35 fee that is essentially an added fee for setting the phone up, something that Verizon will do for you as part of the sale of a phone (or can be done using the Verizon cloud). This fee is simply an added cost to the phone. So, including this added fee, I was now up to a price that was 29% higher than the amount I would have paid directly to Verizon. So I called this location and asked to cancel the order. In fact, I had not taken possession of the phone yet. They did not have the phone in the store. I had paid the tax and the fee (I just mentioned), and I agreed to go to another one of their stores the next day to actually get possession of the phone. However, I when I told them that I wanted to cancel the order, they said they would cancel it but that, even though I did not actually have the phone, they would still charge me the $35 for phone setup. Full disclosure: I did sign a digital document when I was paying the fees agreeing that this fee is not refundable, so this company will tell you that this is, therefore, my problem. It probably is, legally, but it represents to me an unethical business practice, and certainly not a way to treat customers. Frankly, it is a just plain nasty thing to do. Trust me, you do not want to deal with these people!! One last thing: the sales person at this store told me that my Verizon bill will have another one time $30 fee for doing this upgrade, but she assured me that if I called Verizon, they WILL drop this charge. When I ended up talking to Verizon, the Verizon customer support person was very sympathetic about my experience. She told me that, first, the $30 fee is not typically waived; and that having someone at Cellular Sales tell me this was shocking to her. She also told me the actual price of the phone was about $5 a month cheaper (about $134 over the life of the payment period) than what Cellular Sales quoted me, and that the $35 fee I paid to Cellular Sales was NOT part of what Verizon charges its customers. She also offered to give me her email address so that, if I had any trouble transferring information from my old phone to my new one, she would assist me. She also informed me that, considering the price quoted and the claim that a call to Verizon would have a fee waived, she would report Cellular Sales to her supervisor, who, she assured me, would file a negative report about Cellular Sales for this situation. BOTTOM LINE: buyer beware about entering this store. And, if you do, be prepared to pay more for your phone, and/or endure a bad customer experience. You can be sure, I will not enter there again myself.

I recently got a OnePlus One that doesnt work on Verizon (due to technical reasons). I was leaving my familys plan and switching to T-Mobile (which does support the phone). We needed to stop by the Verizon store to make sure that we would not be charged any early termination fees and to reset the PIN on my number so we could release it to T-Mobile. We went to the store and waited a little bit till a rep was available. The rep was helpful in resetting the PIN and seemed to know what he was doing but there were a few things off about him (and the reps in general). For one thing, the reps were all terribly overdressed. A few of them were just in shirts and ties, but most had blazers on as well. Although Im sure it was meant to seem professional, it was kind of intimidating. The rep that helped me also seemed to make a couple passive aggressive comments regarding switching to T-Mobile, different than what I would expect from someone trying to retain a customer.

Went in to upgrade my recalled note 7. I wanted the samsung s7 edge as a replacement. The salesperson proceeded to tell me I didnt need to hand in my note 7. I told him there is a worldwide recall and the phones are literally blowing up. And that I got a text from verizon saying turn off my phone immediately and return phone to retailer. Still he said that if I wanted to I could keep it. I didnt need to turn it in. Then when i said I wanted the s7 edge he said " you know that doesnt offer expandable memory? It only comes stock 32g." Thats when I realized he didnt know what the hell he was talking about. Verizon has rubbed me so wrong this past week and half. T-Mobile is looking more interesting everyday.

Went to the Verizon store by my house to see about purchasing an iPhone 7plus. First thing I noticed was that the store was immaculate clean and had ample parking. Met with Dave who was more than helpful in not only explaining the process of purchase but also was able to convince me that a 7 plus would be more my speed and he was right. Love the phone. Dave was also very knowledgeable about other apple services that he thought could enhance my experience with the iPhone. Your team at the store did a great job and made the customer journey a pleasant one, especially Dave who will be seeing me again as a customer.

I was promptly greeted upon entering the store. Tim was helping another customer, but he came over to me, shook my hand, introduced himself and said he would help me as soon as he finished helping the other customer. I had not been in the store for a phone upgrade in years, and he walked me through ways we could save on our monthly bill and the different phones that I might like to upgrade to. He then told me I was eligible for a tablet, which was a pleasant surprise. Now, I have a much better phone, which he set up beautifully, and I am even happier with my monthly plan. Tim is great at his job.

I came in Colesville store to have my older tablet sync with my newer one, and to several have clarification questions answered. Karissa (KJ) addressed each and every one of my questions, in fact I even learned a few new "tricks". My experience was pleasant, KJ was patient as I tried to try remember all of my different passwords and had fun discussing different softwares. Yes, I would recommend this location, THANK YOU for being on New Hampshire Ave. I also love the fact I never have had to wait more than 20 minutes for a rep.
