I will never go to another computer repair shop. Im Computer Doctor Inc, for LIFE. Never have I been greeted with such warmth and sincerity; nor, given service with such candid integrity. The owner, Polo, is not interested in scams or stacking on items to rack up his payment — he is truly an artisan who only wants to see your computer working at optimal levels, at the cheapest cost to you. I came in with my MacBook Pro that had just blacked out on me while I was working on a clients project; at first, I thought the program I was working on, simply crashed, but rebooted to see a prohibited sign(circle with a line through it). Did my research(and various online fixes, to no avail), and saw it was my hard drive. Went to Computer Doc, encouraged by the high ratings—and I am so glad I did. The first thing he did was shake my hand(how rare is THAT?). Had time to wait and watch the process of evaluating my hard drives health, rocking out/discovering new music via Polos awesome recommendations, while giving a few of my own, AFTER being offered cold water for relief from the heat outside. The time flew: No awkward silences; no foot-tapping, while we talked about world issues and everything in-between. After discovering a lapse in my HD, he suggested multiple replacements that would be much faster and resilent(and, again, fairly priced), printed out the quoted price so that I wouldnt be cheated, and I popped over to Best Buy, no problem. Bonus: he also suggested upgrading my RAM—which I had issues with—and offered me higher capacity hardware, at half the retail price. Unbelievably, the data recovery was only $69, and as other reviewers wrote, he guarantees his work for life. Came in with a handshake; walked out giving him a hug. If youre looking for quality, as well as integrity — if not, plain FRIENDLINESS and RESPECT, I implore you to go here; even if youre not in the Owings Mills area. You will not find more expedient, personal service with a kinder, genuine soul.

The reviews are on this guy are GREAT, and are TRUE ! After reading up on several places in the area, I decided to go right to him. I spilled wine on my keyboard and my laptop would not start up. 2 weeks later I went to this place and met Polo. I turned on my computer to show him the problem, and well, it started working. ( I had not tried it for 2 weeks, I had given up) The spill had dried up and now my computer worked; but he knew instantly what had happened and explained why. He said the location of the spill had shorted out my cooling fan for a while. He told me it was fine, and would not need any servicing, He checked the keyboard and told me that I had done a good job blowing out the spill immediately after it happened, and would not recommend any service for it. He encouraged me to try starting it up in front of him, instead of just writing up a repair order to check it out What a nice and honest guy to take time to talk to me. He is located in the back of a small industrial park, that may be a little hard to find, but well worth it. He explained that this location helps him keep prices down for his customers. Give him a chance, hes a "people person" who will take care of you, and youll make a friend too! You cant not like this guy..

seriously the best place. i found it looking at the great reviews and they didnt disappoint. polo diagnosed my computer problem quickly but out of pure kindness took an hour of his time to demonstrate and explain the issue at no charge to me. I also purchased a lap top from them im currently typing on now that works beautifully and cant believe how little the price for purchase was. i really cant say enough good things about this place. i mean before i came here i talked to people who were gonna charge me $50 dollars just to diagnose my computer issues. computer doctor is legit and awesome, they wont rip you off here. also let me add for people who want to see whats happening with their devices, they can do the diagnosis and repair work in front of you!! for people with sensitive information on their electronics or just a crazy level of attachment to them this can be very important and this place gets an A+ from me on that too

A little wary about the location and short list of reviews, I brought my computer to the shop owner (Polo) to fix a water damaged keyboard. Polo sat down with me and he worked on my computer for over 30 minutes to diagnose the problem and find parts that would suffice for the repair. We then ordered the parts together in the most cost effective manner. When the parts came in, I brought my computer back and he fixed the problem in a short 2 hours, and he only charged me for 1.5 hours (69$). Polo was very polite and incredibly generous with his time and expertise. I would recommend him 100/100 times. He charged well less than half of all other repair stores in the Baltimore area.

My computer died suddenly and since I use it every day I was not happy. Called and was immediately invited to come over for diagnosis. Needed new power supply. Since I didnt want to wait any longer than necessary, he sent me to Best Buy with a printout of the model he recommended. Installed and my computer was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Paid quoted price, he guarantees his work for life. Simple fix, but if youre not comfortable/knowledgeable about computers he was a godsend. Very professional, pleasant and straight forward. Will definitely use again if needed.

I walked in with the typical Geek Squad expectation and walked out not only a satisfied customer but also a friend in Polo. This is probably my best experience ever with a repair shop. Not pushy for money and had my best interest at heart. 101% recommend. You wont regret it.
