TL;DR - Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. Id rate them a 0 if I could. Service: I took my laptop here because my monitor only worked at certain angles, thinking it was a simple loose cable issue. They charge you a $40 service/estimate fee that you dont get back. After having the laptop for a week, when I called, Gary said he had to order parts. 2 weeks after that, he says its not what he thought it was (the cable), but it was the screen. I had to wait another week for the parts. At this time, Gary stopped answering the phone and would hang up when I called. When I finally did get in contact, he said the issue was with the motherboard and that he could not fix it. He stated that he would mail it back to me with two day shipping because he wasnt going to be in the Columbia office, and that he would send it that day (Thursday) or the next morning, and would send me the tracking number. I never received the number. I called on Friday afternoon and he said he was going to take it. Still no number. I called Saturday, but of course, no answer. I called on Monday to make sure he sent it, turns out he didnt. He didnt send the laptop until Tuesday. I didnt receive the number until Friday (through a text) and of course it wasnt two day shipping. When I got my laptop, the screen didnt work at all when I got it back. I took my laptop somewhere else and they fixed it within a day. Hours of Operation: Gary doesnt answer the phone or your messages, and is never in the office. When he did finally answer (usually after you leave several messages) he always stated he was out of town. Lack of Knowledge: I dont think he knew what he was doing. I think its just a big scam to get a little bit of money from you and your insurance. Customer Service: Gary sounds extremely nice, but please do not let this fool you. You will not get the service you deserve or are paying for.

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. My laptop was just acting weird when playing video games, but it worked FINE everywhere else. After taking it to the shop and waiting a few days, I was told the "motherboard was shot" and that I should just "invest in a new laptop" at that point, and was told I could pay them $70 to recover my data. I was a little shocked and skeptical, I gave them a working laptop and now I need to pay $70 to have my data recovered because it is basically broken? No. I have IT friends who told me to just buy an external hard drive to recover my data if needed. So, I asked for my laptop back. This by itself to extremely too long because the "shop" (which is really just a desk in a rented room in a building) was never open, even during advertised business hours. Anyway, I FINALLY get my laptop back and try booting it up just to see what happens. "No bootable hard drive" was my BIOS error. Weird. If the "motherboard is shot" I would not be getting a BIOS error, right? Anyway, we then try getting my data off the hard drive onto another computer. After doing the process twice, we realize... THEY GAVE ME A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT HARD DRIVE!! No WONDER it didnt boot. I panicked! Was my hard drive lost forever? With all my things? Did someone have my social security number and my tax forms and yadda yadda? Forget how unproffesional and just plain STUPID they were to mix up the hard drives and call it "broken." Anyway, I DID get my hard drive back eventually. And I DID get my files off it. Also, guess what, when I put it back in the laptop- IT BOOTED! Whod have thought, right? Put the correct parts in a computer and it WORKS! So basically, nothing was solved, I paid $30 for them to "look" at my laptop, and I was probably purposefully lied to. SCAM?

I took a Lenovo laptop to be repaired and paid for a new battery. The computer was repaired and I was told that within a few weeks the battery would be shipped to our home. After a month I contacted Gary (the representative o worked with) and told he had misplaced my information and was not able to ship me the battery. I gave him my address over the phone and then after clarifying that I would also text it to him, sent him a text with the address as well. He told me he would have to order a new battery and have it shipped to me. A month went by and no battery had arrived so I texted him with no response. After another month I called several times and was unable to reach anyone. After a couple more months (and at this point very tired of spending way too much tome trying to reach someone) I called again and finally reached Gary. He told me he had had some phone trouble and had lost all my information. I told him I was very unhappy that it had been months since I was supposed to have this battery in the mail and he apologized and got all my info again..and said he would ship it to me. That was about 2 months ago and I have no battery and now when I call the number listed it says it is not in service. Its been almost a year since I took in our computer. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with a business and will never use them again. They robbed us.

Cheapest Computer Fix is the way to go these days with the economy and greedy people who only look out for there interest. These guys are really honest, and straight forward. No games/ no drama/ no appointments. They are very professional and responsible. These days every tech personal wants to go deep in your pockets such as Staples, Best Buy etc. I had a computer that had a motherboard failed basically the capacitors had burnt out. I was not getting a straight answer from either BB, Staples, friends that know a lot about computers. I took my desktop computer to CCF they checked it out and explained me the problem for the first time correctly. Well, the computer was done and the cost to repair was more than the whole new computer. CCF recommended me a new desktop computer with better features and faster for a much cheaper prize. The diagnosis of the bad computer was free, the arrangement of the new computer all happened in a very timely and fast paced manner. They also backed up my data for a very reasonable price which compared to other retailers is really really inexpensive cost wise. After seeing this HQ service i got my hard drives that had already stopped working backed up, recovered my data, ordered new Ram for my laptop computer. I always get the best pricing at CCF. I am CCF customer for life and recommend you going there too.

My son dropped off his gaming computer and was told it was a video card that needed to be replaced. He was given a quote of 250.00 and 10 days to repair. I told him to go ahead and have the computer repaired. My biggest mistake. First, 1 month later the computer still was not fixed. Then we were told the hard drive crashed and it would be an extra expense. My husband, an electrical engineer, thought this was suspicious as he looked at the computer prior to dropping it off, and the hard drive worked fine. My husband asked for the hard drive back and was told they did not have it. They also did not have my sons charger and to add insult to injury we had to pay what amounted to a 300 dollar ransom to get the computer back. The gentleman Mr. Gary was very rude and condescending. At this time, I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to see if a complaint can be filed. Please learn from my mistake and do not use this company. when my husband went to get the computer
