My husband and I voluntarily put a $300 deposit down on a washer/dryer combo awaiting restoration, even after being told it wasnt necessary, in good faith because they genuinely seemed like good people. The appliance was still awaiting completion of restoration when we unexpectedly ran into a financial issue and requested our deposit back. They refused, even though the deposit was not required and they did not disclose to us that it would be non-refundable. Do NOT trust these people!!
