I wish I could give negative stars. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. Please do not order from them. I have had numerous problems and concerns regarding my order at the Value city Catonsville location and there has yet to be a resolution. First, I ordered a dinning set on March 1st. It was not in stock and was told it will arrive the 15th. They called me telling me the furniture was there on the 15th. I came to pick it up and it did not fit in my car so I asked them to push the date back another week so I could rent a truck. They called me 3 days in a row teling me my furniture was available to pick up. I finally was able to get some guys and a truck to pick it up. They bring it to my house and I see that the tabel was regular height when I order counter height. All of the chairs were counter height but the wrong color. I had to speak to numerous customer service reps before someone told me they will set up an even exchange delivery. I had to wait another 2 weeks. The delievery was scheduled yesterday. I get a call from the driver who told me he was 15 mins away and that he only had my dinning chairs bcause the table was on back order until mid May. I was livid. How would you only bring me chairs. What will I do with them and no table? No one had the courtesy to tell me this information. Im waiting for delivery thinking my whole set would arrive only to find out I would have to wait another month and a half. I should not have to wait 2 extra months from the date I was originally told to get my furniture when I was told many times that it was at the store. So I want to know what happened to the furniture I ordered. The icing on the cake was, the delivery driver never showed up. So I had to take off work for no reason. All of this is unacceptable. I have a child who is tired of eating on the floor. For homework he was asked if he could buy anything what would it be and he said a table so he can eat on. Imagine how that must feel. So ridiculous.

I bought a bedroom set, coffee table, and an entertainment center. My in-store customer service was great. My reps name was Brian, deal with him if you can. However, after that my service has been horrendous . They can not get my delivery right for the life of them. They tell me that it is coming one day but put it in the computer for a week later. I was given a refund of the delivery fee for that first inconvenience. When I finally received my bedroom furniture I noticed that a piece was missing. Come to find out, during my purchase they entered my bedroom set into their system incorrectly, leaving out a storage chest. I was then given that for half off and told that it would be delivered the next week on a Tuesday. That never happened. I had to call in, yet again, and was told that it was entered in for the following Tuesday. They then said that they could get it to me 2 days later on Thursday. Again, that didnt happen. It was never entered into the system. At this point I am pissed to the high heavens. Im dealing with a bunch of fools that do not know what they are doing. I am now scheduled for Saturday. I will be calling corporate as well as the district manager about this foolishness. If I do not get my delivery by Saturday they will be issuing me a full refund and will come and pick up all of this furniture. I do not need to spend my money there and will gladly go somewhere else. I will never make another purchase in that store and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. I have never heard of or received such piss poor service in my life!

I bought a toddlers bed. My sister has two of them and they work just fine. However, the one I bought has bent slats supporting the mattress so its like my toddler is on a see- saw while hes sleeping. I called several times to have the bed fixed to be safe for my son. The first tech that came out said that customer service did not detail the problem so he didnt bring the right tools. He put a message in the system and advised me to re schedule and I did just that. The 2nd tech came 2 hours late and never called or apologized. Once here in my home he insisted that he was not going to fix the bed and when I asked him to leave he refused and said he wanted to take pictures. I went to call the police and he left. Now I am waiting to speak with Adam, the district manager because the store manager, Russell, doesnt think its a good idea to contact the original tech and find out how to fix the bed. During all of this I had to call the store several times and all of the reps were very rude and no one did anything to help me with my sons bed. Horrible customer service from the rep to the tech to the so-called store manager. Buyer be ware!

Terrible customer service. I would never recommend this store to anyone. I ordered a love seat from this store during presidents day sale and I was promised that I would get it in a week. I had my family coming over to visit me in 2 weeks, so I ordered it. After a week I got a call that it would be another week, next week no call and no delivery either, called them and they said your order is postponed by 2 more weeks and after 2 more weeks I went to the store and I was told another 2 weeks. At-last I got it delivered in 2.5 months time from date of order. My sofa was about an year and 1 month old and it broke (strings from the seat popped out from the bottom) while I had already ordered my love seat and they offered no help or suggestions with that at all. Many times they dont pick or return your calls at all. I was offered that a technician would come by to estimate the damages after I wrote my first review and nobody turned up. Worst experience ever. Bought a sofa and love seat. Bought the warranty. Loveseat has a nail protruding, has messed lots of my clothes and torn my nephews skin. The sofa unfortunately used springs and they got off. Called them and they send their employee to take pictures. That was 3 months ago. I have called them three times since then, they say spare parts are not in and would take 2 months. 2 months after i called, they said spare parts are not in and would take 4 months !!!! Lord give me patience or i will explode. Am still sitting on this sofa and trying to place a sign at the place the nail is out. I am getting ready to move out of state and i do not know what to do since the transferring state do not have a Value City. Will Value city ship my sofa ? I am suffering yet i paid off the seats diligently and worse off, i bought a warranty that does not really do as supposed to. Please be careful where you end up purchasing your furniture. I think others would give better service than this.
