We felt that we did not get even close to a fair price for two very nice pieces of furniture we placed at the Frederick, MD location. We also had a problem with late receipt of a letter that the 90 day consignment was ending and we had to scramble. They did make good on extending the consignment under pressure. For two brand name sofas with labels that were in like new and excellent condition, originally valued at $1100 and $1700 respectively, we netted less than $200 in proceeds (accounting for the pick up charge to get the furniture to their store). We would not do business with them in the future. We would also not do business again with their parent company Wolf Furniture who recommended AFC. They failed at two attempts deliver a new, custom ordered leather sofa that was undamaged upon receipt. We ultimately ordered and received new furniture elsewhere without difficulty.

Very bad experience. Left a beautiful mahogany drop leaf table for them to sell. Was verbally told one thing but after 90 days they sold it and they kept all proceeds. They showed me their contract that said after 90 days it was theirs to sell or dispose of as they saw fit. Contract also said they were to notify me at the 90 day mark to pickup or forfeit my furniture. They claimed they sent me a notification letter. They could not produce a copy of the letter. They also had my phone numbers and email address. Never got any 90 day notification from them to pickup our beautiful table which they enthusiastically said they could sell for over $325. The fact that they buried it back into a corner in the warehouse part of their showroom probably hurt us as well. Sellers beware not a good business to deal with.

People BEWARE. This is a common scam run by these types of businesses. They take your valuable wares and then hide them away until the 90 days elapse and they can claim your furniture for free (too much of a hassle to get the things back). I saw this same thing happen in a case on Judge Judy. This scam is all across America. Maybe insist in the contract that your furniture be on CLEAR display at all times in the ninety days and stop in periodically and check to see if they are complying. Make sure to have the emendation to the contract signed at that point where you made the change. Protect yourself. Better yet just avoid. Sell the items yourself.

Dont like how they operate. Sold my couch with chaise on December 4th and still have not received a check was told last week the put a rush on the check and had it mailed out. Something strange about all this. Other people have had bad experiences with them but I didnt know this before I went there.. But I wont let this go. I dont cheat anyone so I dont expect to be cheated.

Dont buy anything here. Wayyy too overpriced. My friend and I found this beautiful seat with matching ottoman on Craigslist for $45. When we contacted the seller, they informed us they sold it to this specific consignment shop. We drove out and found the chair... marked up $180. That grosses me out. If youre looking for cheap furniture, dont shop here.

If youre looking for something a little different than whats trending in the big furniture stores, stop by here. Some of the prices are inexplicably high, but they just might have the perfect piece. Theyre website is pretty good, definitely check that out before making the trip.

One of the better cosigner offerings in the area. Just watch prices. Almost bought a beautiful sofa, and happened to look it up. Was an Ashley sofa from Value city, where it was cheaper new after the first price drop.
