This is a hard review to write, because we love our La-Z-Boy purchase. The entire experience purchasing out new sofa was pleasant. The showroom was filled with wonderful pieces, our sales person was very helpful, and we are very satisfied with our sofa. But after purchase, beware. The customer service weve received has been awful. In December, we called for service using our extended warranty for a minor problem. While there the technician noticed something else that needed to be repaired. He said he would order the parts for us. Long story short, the parts FINALLY arrived after I called to check on the status of the order, only to find out the parts had not been ordered until I called three weeks after the initial visit. The return visit was scheduled and the day before La-Z-Boy called to let us know that the technician would arrive on Saturday between 9:35--11:35. Since Saturday is our one day to run errands, etc. we rescheduled our day to accommodate the expected service. The technician never arrived and no one called us to let us know. After SEVERAL calls to La-Z-Boy, it was determined that the tech had car trouble and would not be coming at all. This was only found out after several calls. We were told that they had no way of reaching the tech, and the only way to reach his supervisor was by email. The thing that amazed us was that NO ONE called to let us know. We were understandably upset, not so much by the missed service -- we know that things like car trouble happen -- but by the fact that NO ONE let us know and NO ONE seemed in the least bit concerned about that. We demanded an apology from the supervisor or the technician to we have yet to hear from either. Our service call was rescheduled for TWO weeks after the missed date. The thing that is so frustrating is dealing with customer service. No one seems in the least bit concerned about the missed appointment, the responsibility of someone contacting us, the insane way you have to navigate through the phone system, and having to tell the story again and again when calling. We LOVE our purchase, but we will never use La-Z-Boy again and will never recommend it to anyone. Buyer, beware.

We bought one of their sectionals. I think it was the reese one. Its already been repaired once and now it is broken again. A wood support in the back of the chase first and now one of the cables to the handle of the recliner has snapped. When we had the wooden support repaired they came out, had the wrong parts and had to schedule another appointment. Now that the handle is broken we havent even called because its such a hassle. The couch itself isnt that great either. Were constantly losing all sorts of stuff in it and its really hard to retrieve things because it drops straight to the floor and you have to disconnect the sections and basically pick them up just to get your remote or cellphone etc. We have dogs and its impossible to get all the dog hair that collects on the floor unless you move the entire couch. And when you lay on it you can feel the wood that separates each section. Were honestly just going to give it away, which is a shame since we spent thousands on it. So do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper couch. Even if isnt high quality youre not going to get much more quality here for the rediculous amount of money you pay. Id rather buy five cheap couches than one expensive couch that is a piece of junk.

One star is pretty mean, but Im not happy. Ordered a pair of end tables. When they arrived, they were both damaged. I rejected them and they ordered another pair. I said for the price of the tables, I expect them to be pristine and this is their last chance. A couple weeks later, I got a call telling me the tables arrived, but were not free of defect. I generously gave them one last try. I was informed it would take longer, since this pair actually has to be made. Oh good, now everybody can make sure more care is taken in assembly and shipping. A month later, I finally got a call telling me this pair had arrived. I asked of the condition and was unpleasantly met with an I-dont-know. Same day, I go to see the tables. Both are clearly damaged. They made me waste my time to see for myself and obviously hoped Id grudgingly take them. I asked for a refund, dealt with a bit of attitude, then ordered larger, less expensive, feature-comparable tables from Wayfair. My new home has been waiting for these end tables to decide how the living room furniture will be arranged. For two months, my home hasnt felt like a home because of carelessness

Dont waste you time even looking at the Lazy Boy Jonestown Road store. We were told that we would have our couch in 12-16 weeks and it took 20. They never called to inform us on the status of our couch-I had to call every month checking in and the sales associate I worked with only returned my call 1 time. I even showed up in the store and he still wouldnt call me back. The customer service has a lot to be desired. They made promises to us and then went back on their word. They lie non-stop and dont follow through. It was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a furniture store and I will never step foot in Lazy Boy again. Very disappointed with the associates, however the couch finally came and is beautiful. There are a lot of other furniture stores out there that are more customer friendly.

first off a salesman named would just not leave us alone. He was aggressive and even when I said I was just looking and wanted to be left alone he somehow found me again It was an uncomfortable buying experience but ultimately we bought something. Than I got it delivered and the electric recliner stopped working within 3 hrs. I called the local jonestown and they said they couldnt help me They did give me a service phone number who scheduled a service appt for 1month from now. Quite frankly if you delivered a $3000 chair that stopped working in 3 hrs I would get to my house tomorrow now 1 month. If I could I would return this chair and never buy another lazy boy product again. Also we bought three small tables that do have all nicks on the side as well.

The only thing more toxic than the furniture is the service. Do not buy if you have small children or people with allergies who will be near the furniture. Product was cheap and emitted a noxious odor that caused migraines. When Lazy Boy makes a mistake, be prepared to pay for it yourself. Customer Service took 3 months (with consistent pressure on them) to come on site to "verify" this issue...and found noxious odor. Lazy Boy did not offer even a partial refund. Im out $1,000. If you want quality and service in the Harrisburg area, try Liebman, Value City, Costco or Ashley. Had no problems dealing with them over the years. Youll also save time, money, frustration and your health.
