When I ordered my new Cadillac Sedan I began my search for a mobile electronics shop to install a complete Nav/DVD system, remote start and alarm system. I interviewed 5 or 6 shops in the Washington DC area and consulted with auto dealers to see who they would recommend...it kept coming back to DSI Mobile...that was 2002. I took the car from the dealership to them and saw my interior completely taken apart at the beginning and then was amazed at what I saw upon completion. It was as if all the equipment was factory installed including the headrest monitors. The workmanship was flawless. I took my Escalade to them 2 yrs later for 5 monitors, 2 dvd players and satellite tv straight from the dealership. That vehicle has been on display at car club shows. These guys are amazing...they set it up so something different can be in each row of seats, 3 zones. Their work is impeccable and Ive always had them ready to assist me if any issue comes up, even updating firmware or resetting adjustments after Ive replaced or disconnected the battery for any reason. Ive sent friends and family, business associates and more to them for almost 10 years now with nothing but high praise. I would highly recommend them. Im about to purchase another new Escalade and the first stop will be their shop.

Purchased two off-road flood lights from Amazon. I could have had them installed through Amazon for $99. A friend suggested that I should have them installed by DSI, and I did. First, DSI does not commit to a fix price. Instead, they will quote you $95/hour, and don’t commit to how long the job takes either. In essence, they ask you for a “blank check.” The $99 Amazon job ended up costing me $184 at DSI. Second, a visual inspection of DSI work revealed the following (Keep in mind that all wiring is external, exposed to elements underside the vehicle). * Only the female half of the snap connectors were insulated. The male half were bare metal covered with electrical tape. *Not all wiring underside of the vehicle were encased in wire loom. *Electrical tape, not wire ties, was used to hang the wiring from vehicle’s frame. Electrical tape had already come loose within a week. I had to correct the above defects myself. Not all of DSI’s work is available for visual inspection, so I keep my fingers crossed.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. However their prices are not the best. Went there for an estimate of an audio system installation for system that I already own and the first quote I was given was $4000.00, then after I informed the employee that their prices were above my budget the employee made some kind of an explanation and dropped the price to $2,800.00 Their offer was kindly refused by myself. The employee was asked why the prices where so high to what he replied that the removal of the head unit itself was $225.00 After that everything was more than clear. This place have no competive Prices. After reading this review do yourselves a favor look somewhere for your car audio services.

DSI is amazing! The first thing youll notice is how tidy both the front and the rear of the shop is. The attention to detail and organization translates to their work. DSI did a great job installing a full security package from Compustar with a Drone Mobile module. Communication by Jeff was great as I never felt as if I was left in the dark. Jeffs hospitality and knowledge of car audio and car security was appreciated. I will be coming back in the future to have a full sound system installed!

Paid to have something repaired--the repair failed. Called the merchant to tell them this--they wanted additional funds to fix the problem that broke 20 minutes after I departed from DSI. Youre much better off with using Audio Connection, Inc in Columbia, MD or even a Best Buy. At least youll have some resource at Best Buy if something goes awry.

Awesome customer service! I came here for a an amp/sub install on a 4dr sedan. The quality of install was top notch......no loose slack of wires hanging around etc. Everything was professional finish! The staff is very knowledge as well. Best service in the B/W area!
