I went to this best buy to switch my phones and services ... I bought three lines which means three phones ...so the first thing is they have absolutely no knowledge of the equiptment they were selling one of the phones I had asked for I was told which was a basic phone that it had radio station app which my son enjoys listening to radio all the time so I purchased that phone the second phone I had gotten I had specifically asked hows the battery life ..oh its great they said Motorola droid razr ...not ..I did not know at time of purchase they even lied to me about yr came out ...so at end of sale I tried to purchase the geeksquad protection n couldnt they said it was my card ..again it wasnt ..frustrated n tired I went home the store was closed by this time ..came in next day to exchange my motorola back for the sgs3 n try to insure again guess what new card n didnt work ...so again I go home to find something wrong with phone its the speakers the sounded bad I was on phone with verizon when noticed so I had to bring phone back again and exchange n also try to insure my phone again with yet another couple of cards that I actually purchased and still cant insure phone again they said my cards ...so I bring my new phone home again and a couple days later its got hardware issues again sobi decide to go back and just get the razr back so what if it had a bad battery life still a good phone and as soon as I get out car the phone doesnt even drop a foot and shatters when I asked them to help with this they said they could only help if I had paid 170.00 for the insurence wjich means pay in full instead of monthly good thing I had decided to go with vz insurence which their deductable is 100.00 dollars why would I pat 170 vs 100 mind u this is xmas time and I had limited funds as is so I called the best buy in arundal mills best service ever ...they told me they couldnt help me at this point but did let me know it was not my card that was the issue but the people running it threw .. and sent me a 50 .00 gift card to make up some of the expence and so I could get an otter box so I shouldnt have this problem again hopefully so then to top it all off they had waited 2 days to put my paperwork in with verizon which totally screwed my billing up im just now.getting billed.for activations among other things which I dont mind paying but would have rather paid when I had the money ..oh and did I mention I was dumb enough to purchase my otterbox there I mean how complicated could that be and all they had was this horrible pink color and the realtree so I asked for realtree for the same price I mean after all that shouldnt have been an issue but it was so I purchased anyway and took to arundal mills exchange for the realtree same price thank u arundal mills best buy ..u guys are great

Two nights ago my girlfriend and I spent over an hour not receiving any service from any staff member at another location (Pulaski Highway). The following night we drove to the Glen Burnie store, I wish we had just done so from the beginning. We were greeted immediately upon walking through the door. When we reached the area of service (Home theater) we were greeted by another staff member. When we later requested assistance from that individual (who was working with another customer), he immediately called for another staff member to aid us. Billy arrived within what seemed like seconds. He was extremely courteous and helpful, and in no way overbearing. We expressed what we were looking for, and he guided us through our options and checked inventory. When a question arose about a larger, 4K television that he was unsure about, he did not feed us a line about why its great and we should buy it (which would be anticipated from a typical salesperson) just because it was expensive. Rather, he requested assistance from a Sony expert on-site who was able to help us. I feel terrible for forgetting the other gentlemans name who assisted us, but the combined knowledge and customer service from these two young men was beyond laudable. All the accessories we needed, they knew exactly where they were and set us up quickly. They walked us through all of the procedures and policies in relation to our, rather large, purchase. With all of this said, I wish I could provide 6 or 7 stars (did I mention it was very clean and the set-up of the entire store was very consumer friendly?!). I wish I could provide an individual rating for the 5 staff members (including the gentleman who helped us load our car) who were kind, humble, and seemed to truly enjoy what they did, as I would easily give them all 5 stars as well.

3 weeks ago I pre-ordered a game at this best buy and it was the new halo 5 limited edition copy. 2 days after the game released I drove to the best buy to pick it up, but they ended up selling out of pre-orders and didnt have my copy left (which is pretty annoying when I had $50 down on this game for them to hold a copy for me) but the staff was nice about it and ordered one from the best buy website to be shipped out to me and even included free expended shipping (Via UPS). anyway, 5 days pass and I finally receive the game and I was a little mad that I had already waited 7 days to get it. I opened the package and game and was looking through all of the extras when I noticed that the metal and plastic case was scratched up, dented, and also shattered in the back as well as some of the included extras being damaged. the next day I returned to the Glen Burnie best buy to return the game and just get my money back. I ended up talking to the manager about it and he told me that it was classified as (open software) and that he could not accept it as a return, and then went on to say that I could have copied the game onto my computer to pirate it... (im a techy kind of person and I build computers as a hobby, this guy had NO idea what he was talking about) but then still offered to buy the game from me as a trade in for half the price. after 20 minutes of back and forth arguing about it he ordered a copy to replace mine, but this time to be shipped to the store.

I bought a Toshiba laptop and had it sent in for service 5 times for the same problem, computer locking up after about an hour of run time. After sending it out the first time they replaced the battery with a generic replacement, the original was a heavy duty 7 hour battery and I got a 3 hour battery and computer still locked up. Next time they said they had to clean it. that didnt work either. Now each time they send it out it takes a couple of weeks to get it back. Next they sent it out and replaced the DVD burner which had nothing to do with locking up. To keep this short I took the laptop in several more times resulting in the last time they kept it until my paid extra warranty ran out and the computer still wasnt fixed and they told me they could fix it for a price. Myself and several others think it had a bad motherboard which I guess was too hard to fix; also they told me if I sent it in for the same problem 3 times they would replace the computer. Well it was sent in 4 times for the same problem and it was never fixed or replaced. The computer and insurance cost me over$900.00 and Im stuck with a hunk of junk. The service stinks and even the manager lied to my face about going to replace it. If I could give them no stars I would. Once they have your money youre screwed. There are thousands of stories like mine on the internet. Just Google Best Buy complaints. You have been warned. Should be able to get a class action suite against them.
