I went to this location yesterday with my daughter who was looking to purchase a sofa and love seat that was listed in the paper for $499.00. The paper states that the prices are valid thru 7/31/2017. To my surprise, we were greeted at the front door by a salesman who said that everything in the paper was still on sale except the items that she wanted to purchase. He stated that it was only on sale for the fourth of July. I mentioned that it was not written that way in the paper and asked for the number to the corporate office. He laughed and continued on as if I hadnt requested the number so I asked again. He said he would get the manager. I spoke with the manager who said that it was while supplies lasted and they were out of that particular selection. He also stated the quantities were limited. I asked how many his store had in stock at the time the sale began and he said about 25. I asked if she could purchase the floor model and he stated yes for the regular price of $899.00. I asked why it couldnt be sold for the sale price and he said because he didnt have another to replace it. After going back and forth trying to get the sales price thats listed in the paper, he agreed to sell her a new set for $599.00. We decided to go against the delivery since it states on the back of the bill of sale that if your items are damaged during delivery that they are not liable. I didnt see the benefit of spending more money for delivery. After leaving the store I asked my daughter if she had purchased any warranty, she stated that nothing was offered to her. I plan on calling to see why. I feel that she should receive the items for the sale price of $499.00 the additional $100.00 can be used for a warranty.

My wife came into the store to look at furniture she saw on line. Upon entering the store she was greeted by a very pleasant sales person. She was very impressed with the service and decided to browse the store to see if the furniture she loved was available into the store. The quality of the furnitures was very cheap and the sales person asked her to look at their website to see if her furniture was available for ordering. Upon locating her furniture the sales person told her she can place a hold on the furniture to make sure she would have the same price upon placing the order. My wife asked the sales person if he was accurate that she would not have a problem getting her $50 deposit returning back to her and he said yes. Upon her return to advice the store manager that she did not want to purchase the furniture, but to have her money returned, she was told it would not be possible she would have to pay a10% of the price of the Furnitures which was never order. My wife is very upset. Please dont shop in that store. The service from the management is very poor. The quality of the furniture is very cheap.

I received a love seat , we took the box and bubble wrap from the item and immediately noticed a tear in the front seam. I have made several efforts for Overstock to take care of the matter, calls and emails have been mostly ignored, speaking with the manager he states he nor the NJ warehouse was responsible, He states we should have removed it from the wrappings while in the store, this was not told or suggested by any associate , we were just told to go to the back of the store for pick-up, now I am paying for damaged merchandise,, I am trying to furnish a new condo, it wont be with Overstock

if you want to be treated like crap, this would be the right place to go. I was checking out the mattresses for my new apartment and this american salesman was treating me good and stuff but when i was about to fill out my application I tell him I didnt have a social. He made this "you just wasted my time " face. Honestly, I couldve bought it out cash, but the way he treated me afterwards disgusted me. I would never want to do business here.

I received a broken dresser and i wasnt home to get it my brother was and they told me that because the driver left that it was nothing i can do but go through the warranty...poor customer service...cheap furniture...dont go there.
