This is absolutely the worst experience I had with any furniture store. The staff is rude, inconsiderate and snake oil saleman. They put up fake signs stating original sales price and then the mark down (its all a gimmick to get you suckered, dont believe the hype). If I ask you how long my purchase will take to come in and you tell me two weeks I expect my my stuff in two weeks, not 6 weeks! I shouldnt have to call everyday just to find out my purchase is still processing overseas. The website they give you to check the status of your purchase doesnt work. Oh, then they say we can get you another item out of our warehouse for the same price. WTF, why would I get another item from the warehouse and wait another 6 weeks? Absolutely no regard for how others would feel if they were put in the same situation, completely oblivious. All they care about is making a profit and not customer satisfaction. Avoid at all cost!!! Avoid at all cost!!! Follow Up: So I purchased on the 18th Nov 2016, I was told by the salesman that the my items would be shipped to me no more than 2 weeks because it was a Ashley Furniture product. That didnt happen. Fast forward to Dec 16th and no furniture. Went to the company in person and talked to the manager. The manager told me the furniture would be at the port on Dec 19th. Needless to say that didnt happen. Fast forward to Dec 27th, received a call from an associate stating my items should be in the warehouse Jan 8th, so now its over a month. Can Fast forward to today the 28th of Dec. Got a call from the manager stating my items would be here on the 2nd of Jan and then offers me a ridiculous "deal off" up to 100 dollars off the same floor model that I eyeballed to purchase the furniture in the first place. So let alone the floor model thats been sitting in your warehouse for GOD knows how long and now you "claim" its only been there since I came to the store originally. Now the manager and the staff are not the same page and are lying to people. They really think people are stupid!!! Are you kidding me, if I wanted to purchase the floor model I would have done so from the jump. This a totally disrespectful organization with no discipline that not only disrespects civilian patrons, but military veterans who have served their time. This place should be shut down. Please check out the Better Business Bural Website, they have the worst ratings. Should have done this myself, but you wouldnt think a company could be this shady!!!

Truly wish I viewed these before I ordered through this store. So the first set of furniture I bought through them was easy enough because they had it in stock, which is why I thought going to them a second time would be easy as well. We ordered over 5,000 dollars worth of furniture, paid cash, and have now been jerked around constantly. Those females that work in the front desk do not make it any better, it seems every single one of them have an attitude when it comes to customer service. I went into the store to inquire about my order when it hit the 6 week mark which they told me was the maximum wait time, and every single one of them looked at me and my family as if we smacked them in the mouth. Eventually one of them looked up from their phone long enough to ask "what do you want" upon which I asked about my order, and was told it would come in that Friday. I think, ok thats fine, come Friday no phone call so I wait until Monday. Didnt want to go in again because I knew they had no customer service skills and I didnt want to cause a scene. So we called to which one of them answer with the same attitude and tell me it will be that Friday instead. Of course no one called me that Friday either, come the following Monday I call again and get the same attitude again, and get the same answer again, it will be this Friday. Obviously this store has no idea how to fulfill orders properly, they have no sense of customer service training, and they have no idea of how to make their customers happy. I thought my experience was singular until I checked their reviews and seen all of this is quite common. In the time of the order being late until now, which is going on four weeks, my family and I have gone to one of their competitors, made an order for something that was not in stock, and received everything within three weeks, all with better customer service. Save yourself the time, money, hassle, and the headache, do not shop at the Regency in Waldorf unless you want to hate your furniture when you finally get it since it will always remind you of the experience with this store. To Regency, if you even bother to read these and better yourselves, when someone orders something and it is going to be late, call the customer and apologize for your mistake. Offer a $100 off coupon or something, and find out the actual date you will have it in stock instead of just saying the following Friday. Above all else, teach your front desk staff common courtesy, manners, and customer service, because if they make the experience worse you will only lose more customers. If the other ratings are any litmus test, you wont last 5 more years at this rate. Update: After dealing with the manager we worked out something to get our furniture here and I thought my troubles was over. Instead of a day or two, it has been another week. When I called today to see what was going on a gentleman answered said hold on and left me on hold for over 30 minutes before the phone just cut off. You guys really messed up, was planning on fielding my whole house through them one room at a time, approx. 45,000 was budgeted. Glad I stuck with my plan of a build up in money with you, 2 for the first 5 second, 10 for the 3rd, and so on, now its definitely going through one of your competitors. Seriously need to learn how to treat your customers.

Wow. Clearly receiving reviews on here has not changed the business model of Regency. Where to start? My initial purchase with Regency was very well. The salesperson didnt hover or annoy me and was very knowledgeable of the products I bought. I paid for all my furniture (a few thousand dollars) and eagerly awaited its delivery in 2-6 weeks. It all went downhill from there. After 6 weeks and no call to schedule delivery, I called them. I was told that everything except a rocker had arrived and they expected it within the week. They would then call to schedule. A week later I called back. Rocker still hadnt arrived. I inquired about having the rest of the furniture delivered and of course was told they deliver only once free of charge. I asked when I could expect the rocker and was told a week. About 10 days and no furniture later, I called back. To call the lady who answered the phone a "customer service" representative is a joke. She proceeded to tell me that the table I had purchased had not arrived with all of its parts. Wait? What happened to just the rocker was missing? I asked when it would arrive and she said (of course), it should arrive from overseas in a week or two but that they cannot track international shipments. What!!! Now Im getting a totally different story. She proceeded with an attitude to tell me that I had a special order and that it could take up to 14 weeks to arrive. GFOH! Now this is a special order. No mention of that at purchase or in the previous two calls. She further struck my nerves by telling me if I cancel I will get charged a cancellation fee. Now Im really mad. I didnt say anything about cancelling. At that point I just got off the phone. Two weeks later (no furniture of course), I call back and get a very nice lady. It was a world of difference and I have no idea how Regency has managed to keep her. She looks in the system and tells me that the table base is what has not arrived (do they not ship the same set of furniture together) and that it will not arrive for another 4 weeks. Wow!! Its now nearly 3 months after I paid for my furniture and I have to wait another month. She pleasantly asked what I would like to do recognizing that I had already waited way too long for my stuff. I informed her I wanted to cancel the table altogether and pay no fee for doing so. She called the store and told them this to which they agreed but of course I had to go up to the store to do so (I was in the car not 5 minutes later). Fast forward a week and Regency is delivering the rest of my furniture. I had kept the chairs for my table having found the exact same table on Amazon. I should have known nothing would go smoothly. The rest of my furniture arrived in great condition and is beautiful. However, the chairs they brought were counter height and not the chairs for the table. How do you mess that up? I immediately refused them and went back to the store to cancel. Regency tried to get me to keep take the correct chairs as they had them in the stores warehouse but I refused. Flash forward two days later and I literally found the same dining set (with chairs) on Amazon for $400 cheaper. It arrived one week (go figure) right after I bought it from them. Never will shop at Regency again. Amazon clearly has a better business model and the stuff arrives on time.
