This Review and these stars are only for Miss Jessica, the customer service rep that turn a pain in the butt into an acceptable deal. I ordered a bed Set on July 8th to be delivered on July 22nd. The week after they told me it will be delivered after they receive it on the 29th (surprise lateness). They received it on the 29th and took extra days to deliver even then night stand was damaged. They were about to make me wait again but thank Goodness to Jessica who was pushing hard for me I just received my nightstand with a gift. (Yes she is that good)! Capitol heights staff is incompetent, manager not willing to work anything out with you, sales person hanging out at the store not being able to answer questions when you go there in person or by phone, Jessica you should be at a managerial position, you know how to take care of business, you know how to handle things efficiently and effectively , I cant thank you enough!!!!!!!! everyone else there needs to go period!!!!

I purchased my furniture on May 18th with a 2-6 week delivery window. I called the store twice after waiting 8 weeks. I was promised delivery within 10 days after speaking with a manager. I received a call with a delivery date of 8/4 between 1-5 pm. I was called after 2 p.m. and told my my window was pushed out 1 hour. My wife waited until 730 p.m. with no one showing up. I made many calls to the store with no answer of where my furniture was. It is now 8/5 and I still dont have my furniture. This will probably be my first and last purchase from Ashley. Read the fine print... They only return furniture with store credit. Update: Rescheduled for 8/11. The drivers showed up this time. My chair was delivered defective. I want my money back at this point. Was told by the District Manager William Hall that my refund would be partial. They deducted the $100 dollar credit. I didnt even get all my money returned. Please avoid this place...they will only have you disappointed.

Customer Service - In February I purchased a sofa and loveseat from the Capital Heights MD Store and as of today 27 April I still do not have the furniture. All calls made were initiated by me, no one ever called to give me a status or an update. This is the first mistake in Customer Service Relations. My final call was much more pleasant and professional. I spoke with Dominique Fleming. Very knowledgeable, helpful and PROFESSIONAL. Although I ended up requesting a refund, Dominique is the reason I would even consider returning to the establishment. I would strongly suggest HIRING and TRAINING more employees like Dominique Fleming. My honest opinion would be, if I spoke to Dominique Fleming initially I would have the furniture I purchased and more. Overall, I would rate the branch, on a scale of 1-10, a rating of 4.5. On customer service, a rating of 2 but Dominique Fleming, I rate you a perfect 10. Thank you!

This store has very friendly staff all the way from the sales person, Janiqua, to the office gal who I checked out with. Ashley furniture in Capitol Heights has a beautiful selection. I found my daughters bedroom set which they had instock luckily I didnt have to wait beyond 5 weeks which is what I anticipated and received it a week and half later on this past Saturday. I have been to other companies and they do not compare to wonderful service I received from everyone. Even the day of delivery the dispatch department called to make sure everything went well with my delivery. I am so pleased and will be back to get my next furniture purchase.

I visited the store today and was pleasantly surprised by the floor sales team member (Valerie) and office staff member (Imari). When I entered, Valerie greeted me at the door and escorted/directed to the area that I wished to see. Patiently waited to answer any/all questions concerning the home furnishing. I had an unusual request that required the assistance of the store manager. Valerie explained my concerns and insured that all my request were met. The office staff member that assisted me was Imari. She met me with a smile, was pleasant and very efficient. I will return to this store for future purchases!

After searching for furniture for over 3 weeks including an Ashley Homestore in Durham, NC and one in Waldorf, MD (visited several times), I ended up at the Ashley Homestore in Capitol Heights, MD. I know everyone has a different experience. My experience with this store was really good. Thank you to Mohamed and the Manager on duty, Ms. Darlene. I was able to get what I wanted and at a great price. They let my husband and I take our time and browse without the hassle and answered all our questions and concerns. I will purchase from this franchise again.

Dont shop here! The price is right, but the staff is incompetent. We bought a chair and a sofa in February and they still havent been delivered, and every time we call were given the runaround. Each time we talk to an employee and think we have something settled, we call back to confirm and were notified that the progress we thought wed made never made it into their system. Theyve called us multiple times to tell us things we already know, and yet nothing ever gets done. Avoid!!

Purchased a nice set yesterday and was assisted by Ikea Holmes and this young lady was the definition of customer service. She did everything she could to make my experience in the store and my purchase run smoothly. I would highly recommend you ask for her when you visit. The manager Kassandra was also a super young lady with a great attitude and customer service skills who made my final transaction quick and easy. All of the young ladies were nice to work with!

Purchased a Couch and A Sofa. Delivery Took Three Months...When the delivery finally did come...The Deliverers Cut the Couch on the Side with a Box Cutter...Didnt catch it as they concealed the cut by placing it against the wall. When I called the Store...and complained...They said it was not their responsibility ...to call the warehouse. Dont Shop Here. Youre furniture will take for ever...and it will be delivered by ex-convicts.

Great customer service I ordered my furniture but life has gotten in the way and I am the one not doing my part setting up delivery date etc. But they were wonderful after delivery Ill give additional star but for now so far so good. I should have asked the last customer service rep that contacted me do they accept payment via phone but I was not thinking Im currently on hold now waiting for a rep to finish this purchase.

I went in today to look for furniture for my new home thats currently under construction and when I walked in I saw about 8 emoloyees, none of them spoke , I circled the store twice no one ever spoke , two or three employees looked me right in the eyes no one ever spoke. I was looking to make a major purchase atleast three rooms but I walked out and will spend else where, terribly customer service.

Do not buy what the store does not have in stock. You are better off purchasing it online. It is cheaper and delivery is faster that way. The store delivery takes 3-8 weeks. The employees and sales people are nice. However, they need to do a good job of telling you everything. Also Sales on backordered items are final. SO beware.!!!!
