This place is horrible. Long waits for no reason other then poor counter help. Workers always talking with each other, or on the phone repeatedly more then checking customers out. Heres a clue; the person on the phone asking about something is not the paying customer standing in front of you trying to checkout. I get needing to answer parts calls; but have one designated person doing so, not the whole store you idiots. Brought vehicle to have code checked, young guys said it was to cold and there was ice today in the parking lot. I parked car at curb next to their door and they still wouldnt go outside. Bunch of young no nothing pu$$ies afraid to get their b@ll$ cold and do some real work. Salvo customer for life now. Salvo always has what I need, fast, knowledgeable guys, no-nonsense. They came right out in the cold and helped me. Always worth the extra dollar to get the better service. Advance is the dollar menu McDonalds auto store. Crap service, long wait, and rude service.

Terrible service. I was there on Saturday may 20th 2017 and it will be my last time until management changes. I run a local trucking company and we have spent thousands. Thousands at advanced but no more. We will go to napa. 3 employees smoking out front. Two employees behind the counter on their phones. The one other customer in the store was told to hold on as the employee played with his phone. The customer walked off to look at another aisle. I walked up to the counter. Waited several minutes before the same employee (the manager) started yelling for another employee. The manager walked into the back looking for another employee then came back after not find the employee. He then stood right in front of me and went back to his phone. I set my stuff down and walked out. Terrible service. Never again. Ill be using napa or a different location if no other options, this location is not an option.

If you want actual help, go to the one off Ritchie Hwy. in Pasadena or off Fort Smallwood Road. Went in on a weeknight because I needed replacement bulbs for my car. Went to ask the girl behind the counter where they were and she just rolled her eyes and said "I guess Ill find them for you". Ok? I guess she forgot that was in her job title. As shes looking on the computer, shes playing on her phone the whole time not paying a bit of attention to the computer. I go to pay for the bulbs and she just rips the money out of my hand and gives me my change. No "thank you", nothing. Piss poor customer service here.

The service at AAP was alright, but nothing stellar. The workers dont seem to be mechanics, so do your homework and know exactly what part youre looking for when you go. Theyve always had the parts I was looking for, or were able to get them within 2~3 days (depending on how large the demand is for that specific part) pretty easily. They havent done any installation of any parts Ive bought there, and dont do battery installation. If thats what youre looking for youll need to look somewhere else.

This place isnt that great. Some of the employees seem cool. Some are rude too.The wait time the lines are just unnecessary.If you are next in line and the phones rings they will ignore you.You can buy the same quality or even better quality parts online for the same or even cheaper price and not have to deal with rudeness.

After waiting on his current customer, looked at me and another customer waiting to be rung up and then grabbed his clip board and let us just stand there and wait for the next employee who already had two customers. Number one rule in retail. Ring up the sale!!!
