In November of 2010 I had part of my half sleeve started at another tattoo shop in Elkridge. It was pretty intricate line work, and the artist rushed through it, leaving a tattoo that looked like I had it done 10 years ago at a tattoo party. I was very upset because he had done almost all of my tattoo work and was always pleased with him. I went a whole year with that crap on my arm until I made an appointment with Lee at Ghost Town. He has had to re-do every single line in the tattoo. Its not even halfway finished and it already looks amazing. I cannot wait to have him complete it and add on to my collection. Do not settle for other tattoo shops because of the cost GHOST TOWN IS WORTH EVERY PENNY I have friends who have seen the other artists and they have amazing pieces. Everyone is super friendly and down to earth. Cant wait for my next appointment!!!

It was my first time getting a tattoo and I was really nervous. Matt put me right at ease as soon as I showed up. The design that he drew was better than anything I had thought of. He really took the time to go over everything with me and make sure that I was happy with the placement and size before he started. All the artists seemed very friendly and patient. The prices are a bit high, but that is only because the quality of work is so high.Matt did an AMAZING job, my tattoo is perfect. I would highly reccommend Ghost Town to anyone that wants a tattoo.

The artist was nice enough, but his work was mediocre, and flawed. Upon return to inquire and discuss this with the artist, I felt that he was defensive, and turned his mistakes on me. Rather than discuss or explore any viable options for repair, or designing over the original tattoo with which I was displeased, he told me to get it lasered off if I didnt like it. I was disappointed, and I thought that he would have taken more pride in his work. I say this without malice, but sadly regret not having gone elsewhere.

Ghost Town is a small tattoo parlor hidden in Old Ellicott City. The building itself is very cool (they sell antiques also) and the artists are friendly and immensely helpful when it comes to custom tattoos. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and came out with an excellent, cleaned up realization of my tattoo. My artist told me that he likes to do a lot of custom work and work with customers. I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo.

I love this shop! I had been looking for somewhere to get new work done and been recommended to Ghost Town by a friend. She had gotten work from Lee and mentioned she had had a really great experience there. Im very glad I checked the place out. Everyone there was really friendly and the place just looks cool. Most importantly, Lee did a great job on my tattoo! I will definitely be going back...

This place is great. Im not sure what thisplacesucks is talking about. The artists are extremely friendly. You say that "...they are just trying to get the work done as fast as they can and get the money and go," when in reality tattoo parlors get paid by the hour. This place is great, they do a great and quality job. Definitely recommend Ghost Town to anyone seeking quality tattoos.

I just got my first tattoo done here. I am extremely critical and finicky, and I walked in with nothing but an idea (A very specific idea, with no photos to back it up with), and I have a tattoo by Christian that is better than I could have imagined myself. It was an absolutely fantastic experience, the atmosphere was wonderful, and Christian did an incredible job. A true artist!!

This is an excellent place. You dont get the typical arrogance of tattoo artists and most of all the work is top notch! You might not get your work done quickly, but if you want it done right, you will wait. Or go someplace else and get sloppy work.

I had a very positive experience here. It is a bit pricy though, just keep that in mind, but you do pay for what you get. If youre getting a tattoo for life, youre gonna wanna invest some money in it.

Great service and talented artists. They were able to take us as walk-ins on a Sunday afternoon, but they seemed busy before and after. I recommend an appointment. Prices are $175 an hour.

Matt Rinks came highly recommended by another shops artist. That speaks volumes itself. I was not disappointed. Amazing custom work, and a fast but clean tattoo artist.
