After searching the Richmond area for a tattoo shop that had a great reputation, I heard about Ty at Liquid Metal through a mutual friend. To say he is awesome would be an understatement! Very professional & makes sure your comfortable which was important to me. The shop atmosphere is really relaxed, everyone was friendly, and it is also very clean( which was a must for me)!! This tattoo was my 5th & a coverup but by far my FAVORITE! I absolutely couldnt be any happier with my half sleeve!! I sent Ty a lot of different pictures because I couldnt find exactly what I wanted, and he put my vision together & exceeded my expectations!! Definitely going back!

After searching the web for a shop in the Hampton Roads area, I decided to give Liquid Metal a try for a cover up of one of my old tattoos. I cannot say enough about Liquid Metal. Chris did an unbelievable job on my tat & I was equally impressed Jason & Ricos work that I saw while spending over 6 hours in the shop. If youre looking for very high quality work, with resonable prices, do yourself a favor and make the drive to West Point.

I got my first portrait tattoo from Rico 07/21/10 (not first tattoo). Rico was very professional, had a great personality, and got more detail than I ever thought possible or could ever imagine! The shop was clean and ALL the staff were polite & friendly. I give Liquid Metal Tattoo & Body Piercing and most especially Rico 2 THUMBS UP & 5 STARS. Its definatley worth your while to check this place out!

The atmosphere in liquid metal is different than other tattoo parlors. Its comfortable and relaxed, clean, and the people are genuine and trustworthy. They are all exceptional artists each with their own different fine skills and knacks for certain art styles. Definitely worth the drive - they have the best prices from richmond to virginia beach.

Everyone there was really friendly. Excellent designs, excellent work. Everythings really clean and everyones really helpful. Also important, the guys here dont rip you off like a ton of tattoo shops in the area. Amazing prices, hands down, totally reccomended.

I have wanted to have tat work done and touched up for about 10 years and could never find an artist that I trusted. Rico is the man! He is the highest tattoo talent that I know. Hes an ace with colors and blending as well as portraits.
