Ive had work done by Emily, both session work for a large side piece and a smaller piece done with my mom for her birthday as mother-daughter tattoos. (Need to get back in and get more work done, but life has a way of intervening. Harumph!) Ive had work done in different shops from PA to CA. But Ive made 717 my go-to b/c its always a great experience; shop is clean and the staff is laid back, honest, and knowledgeable which are some of the most important qualities in ANY business, but especially in this line of business where you spend sometimes multiple hours with the person providing your service. Ive been MORE than satisfied with the work Ive received; Emily is awesome and has been more than willing to provide her feedback on my choices when asked and works with me to achieve what Im looking for. Shes so creative and talented. Been a client since 2013 and looking forward to my next visit!

This place is absolutely amazing with incredible customer service I love it❤️I recently got my septum done at another place and they told me everything wrong so after hearing good reviews about here I decided to call and ask how to take care of it. The lady I spoke with gave me great advice and was super nice. Never going anywhere else to get my piercings or piercing products the people here are clean and very respectful/friendly unlike so many others

This is one of the best tattoo studios around, it was very clean, the ppl was very nice and welling to answer any questions that I had. This Saturday will by second time getting a tattoo from my man dust. He did such a good job last time with me and my wife that now all four (me my wife, and two friends) will all be getting tattoos. Keep up the good work guys I will know that I will be back for more.

Skelly has been my one and only piercer for years. She is always so professional and will truly help you achieve the look you want. I have to be able to use a stethoscope for my job and Skelly always carefully helps me acquire my desired look while keeping it practical. I recommend her and 717 tattoo in general to anyone one who wants a professional piercing.

The shop was very clean and everyone was so friendly. Nate did my tattoo and he was very accommodating, detail-oriented, and very kind! It was easy to tell that he wanted you to have exactly what you wanted and he wanted to make sure it continued to be exactly what you wanted. This place ROCKS! The studio is clean, the atmosphere is awesome, and the people are friendly and know what they are doing. I got a piercing here 6 months ago by Skelly and she answered all my questions and made sure I understood aftercare. Id reccomend this shop to Anyone and Everyone for piercings.

I got tattoo done, the place looks nice and clean. But I think the artist wasnt in the mood 2 do my work.idk is it because Im a black person or what. He didnt tell me how to care for it nor did he put a band aid over it.i wont go back.

I got my first tattoo here on the back of my neck in august of 2014. It looks completely new, no fading, no line breaking, nothing. Dust did a great job on my tattoo and I will be coming back after my baby is born to get more(:

I believe costumer service is important. The pink haired girl at the counter was giving me disgusting looks so I left with the few grand I had in my pocket. Too bad.. I was referred there by my tattoo artist from Richmond.
