Awesome little ACE store. Stopping in to exchange Sodastream canisters, pick up screws, and getting keys made is so much nicer here than other places. There is a shop cat who can usually be found lounging among the succulents or testing the doormats (give him a pat, he will purr in response!). The staff are rather helpful, but their customer service style is to have each staff member ask you if you need anything, so if you are someone who looks less knowledgeable, it can feel a little condescending, but once you get used to it, it is a comforting feeling. Also, grab a Leninade or other vintage soda at the till!

great store and great staff! on sunday evening, with less than an hour before they closed, my dad and I realized we needed a different drill bit if we were gonna successfully install this door in my apartment. we called the store and anthony picked up the phone immediately. i tentatively asked whether he had in stock one particular type of drill bit of one particular size, and he immediately said that he was sure he had it. when we got over there, we didnt even have to look around the store, because anthony had retrieved the exact drill bit we needed and was holding it at the counter. fantastic!

I cannot say enough great things about this ace store and all of this groups store in the city. The staff are knowledgable, helpful, energetic and the most important thing, they help every single one of their customers. If you have any need that would be in their stores, GO THERE! plus each store has a cat ambassador which is amazing! Local feel in a national co-op. If you go to home depot or lowes, you are missing out and probably getting less for your money. Do your self a favor, go to these stores in the city.

This is a great hardware store! When originally opened, the staff was often ignorant and sometimes downright rude. Then something changed. Now, the staff is knowledgeable, polite, understanding, and very friendly. I am usually greeted as an old friend. Why drive miles to Home Depot when most items are available just around the corner? (The cat, Benjamin Moore, is another delightful member of this wonderful team).
