Manager refused to accept my return because my receipt was faded. I would have accepted store credit, exchange, really anything but the manager was incredibly rude. He said I should try "going back to Glen Burnie, you might have better luck there". I was very offended by this RACIST comment (Glen Burnie being a white neighborhood). Now I am out $90 and two pieces of junk I cant use. Certainly learned my lesson and will be spending my money elsewhere. Harbor Freight may be cheap but their products are hit and miss and god help you if you dont have a receipt.

Dirt cheap tools, and if you know what to look for and what to avoid there are some pretty incredible deals to be had. Anything with few or no moving parts is a pretty good bet- like breaker bars, large sockets, prybars, wrenches, screwdrivers etc. Some of the power tools and ratchets are good too but they can be more hit or miss. My only complaint is that every time I shop they are missing, or dont have up, at least a dozen price tags. Not really a problem if you know what you need from a flyer or whatever but makes browsing a bit of a pain.

Called to confirm an online price with the local in store price the woman who answered the phone told me to go online and find the price. (Huh). Thats why Im calling to confirm your online price with the in store price. She did not seem to understand that and said there was no way for her to leave her register or get another employee to check the price. Customer service doesnt seem to be of high priority for this store . But the tools seem to be inexpensive not sure of the quality though.

The Manager & the Security Man named Gary, are awesome people. Both went out of their way to help me out when I was stranded with a dead car battery. I offered to pay them $20 for their help, but both refused multiple times. It makes me feel better knowing there are still people out there willing to help others just for the sole purpose of helping and not expecting anything in return!

The girls at the resister are a 5 star. The guys who are on the floor are a1 star for being "ghosts". Customer service is non existent away from the registers. 80% of the tools are cheap Chinese junk. One time use. The other 20% are a little better than junk. I return 70% of what I buy because it breaks so fastso save your receipt and kero it handy

I tried to call harbor freight customer service several times and waited for a long time but my phone was never answered. This is not bad customer service rather this is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Too bad. How many stars do they deserve?

There is no sense of ergency to help out the customer. Making a return is a 15 minute process waiting for codes or running out of fives and change. Very disappointed in the customer service in the last few weeks there.

I love this this store. I still can figure out how they keep their prices so low. Any tool i need for my house or car. I can get it from Harbor Freight and get it at a reasonable price

What I want, no matter how obscure, is usually in stock. I just have to ask any of the staff on the floor and they will grab it from the back or point me to where it is.

They wont let me return my tile saw. But they said that I had to pay a $40 stocking fee. I was cursing at them
