Stopped by the copy center and was assisted by a dark hair male associate. I needed shredding and copy work done. After paying for the shredding my bag of confidential documents was placed by the trash can. We went on to discuss the copy project. I needed two binders as presented. The employee did not seem to care or know what to do. They were unable to make binder tabs due to that printer had not worked for over a year per a 2nd associate. I then said to just do the copies and I can print the tabs needed on my computer at home. I was finally given a cost of $300 for color copies ( no tabs,no binders, no insertions). I commented the price was high and the associates response was yep. I said o would pass due to the store down the road would do the entire bonder for $75 each. Stopped by a hour later and my bag of confidential documents I paid $17 to be shredded were now sitting in the trash can. When I inquired why they were not protected before shredding and the lady said oh I thought it was trash. I asked for a manager and was told none were available. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!

A Private User
I have been in this Staples multiple times and the employees except for two, (two young ladies) always act as if they are being bothered. They are talking and goofing off- having private conversations while ringing you up and then lose track of what they are doing. I can not stand it. I have even called on the phone for information, and they sounded the exact same way! Bored out of their minds, not willing to go the extra mile to help. A perfect example is I called about an item. The employee, this time a woman, told me they did not have it then just sat on the phone in silence. Instead of offering another similar model or asking what features I was looking for, she left the conversation with empty air. This is totally ridiculous. I ended up going to Best Buy which is right up the street for future transactions. I get better service and sometimes better pricing. This Staples needs new management and new employees or needs to be closed down.

I went to the florence ky store a couple of days ago at the printing center a girl nemef savanah helped me she was nice and courtious she got my order done right away the only problem she put my area code twice a misprint no big deal just make it right didnt notice for aday or so she did a good job i just didnt notice the misrake i eva tipped her five dollars for getting it done so fast ok went back to get it fixed same girl said ill have to charge you again i said let me ask a manager she pointed to little short girl who said id need to pay agian because i approved the i really didnt notice the mistake till laterit was only an 18 dollar order dont know if the little short one was having a bad day or what but she should have made it right i notice a lot of bad reviews so this review wont matter either but hope it helps send you to office depot fed ex kinkos or a number of other places we can go spend our money. Some older guy at the computer area gave me an hour run-around to price match to Office Max, because the closest one was 15 miles away and "was not a direct competitor." He was rude every step of the way, but to his credit, did call Office Max to verify the deal and made sure there were none in the area that I could actually purchase to qualify as a direct competitor (inconsistency aside, my point is he looked like he would honor the deal). Still, he was a pain to deal with and left me feeling like a jerk for trying to buy something by following his corporate policy. I went to Jo-Ann fabrics a few doors down and was treated like an actual paying customer minutes later, furthering the stark comparison. I know its just one employee, but he was bad enough that Im probably not going to go to staples much anymore.

Very sad to listen to a story of two male workers at this store publicly mistreating a 78 year old woman (my mother) who simply needed some direction or help with a copy machine, something she has no experience with. From the reviews posted here though it seems to be the trend or business as usual at this location. Horrible representation for the Staples brand.

I have ordered online 3 different times and they never have my order ready on time. When I go to pick up, they just say sorry they were busy or they didnt have all of the necessary products to complete the order. Very Disappointed.
