D-Block Sheek Louch

I bought my kids a Wii classic controller thinking it would work for a Wii U Super Mario bros. U game for the Wii U console. But I made a mistake and purchased it. So now I have to return it under their "Try it or deny it" policy where I can return the product and only take store credit for a dollar less then what I paid for. Really? This is my second time coming into this store in 5 years and the only reason why I did is because Gamestop didnt have the product in store. And if they did I could return it for the full cost of the item. Why in the world would you not offer cash refunds? Edit 2-10-15 Your comparisons does nothing for me. The thing about an amusement park is that their are multiple things to do there. The odds that I will not be happy with the "experience" is not likely. But the odds of an electrical item that doesnt work for a system that I own is much different. And as far as a movie goes, I purchase a movie ticket for a film that I Want to see. Big difference. But hey if that is how you run your business then so be it. I just know that I will never purchase an item there let alone refer my friends and family. Update 7-16-15 Your response does much for me and the lack of professionalism you show. Im glad this is public and everyone can view this and go directly to gamestop like people have been already? I ordered a special edition ps4 to be sent to this location waited and waited for it to come in. when I went to gamers, they told me they sold the system to someone else, and it was still earlier in the morning. just to be sure if I wanted to get a ps4 still, and because the shipment wouldnt be till next (week)Wednesday, one of the employees assured me that I could rent a system and games still. $5 a day for the system and $1 a day for the games. When I went to return the rental the next day they told me I had to have my ID. so I came again the next day to return the console. the guy kept trying to buy it back at $180 so I would of lost $120 for a 2 day rental. WTF by this I didnt want anything to do with this place. After he figured it out, they told me all I could get for returns is store credit.

I bought an Xbox one system about a month ago. The worker there said if it doesnt work we can have you return the system and I could get a new system or cash. I have called and asked about this and I heard that I could not return for cash but I could trade for another used system. I find this to be very unfair in that It wasnt my fault my system was defective so why should I have to be the one getting the "try it or deny it" crap. I want a full refund when I buy an electronic that doesnt work. Never buying from here again.

This was an amazing experience! 2 days ago I picked up a copy of Super Mario Land and it worked great! This place has everything! I have a request. I would like you guys to make a website because when I went to visit my grandma I had to go all the way from Texas to Iowa. I hope you guys will be able to make a website to make it easier to purchase things from a different location.

Good product. My purchased gamecube system seems to have a few sticky console buttons but the system functions as expected and the price was fair. Knowledgeable staff, and good stock of games for older systems.
