I must admit this is not a complete review as I have not seen how much credit they give for your used products or looked over their prices with much scrutiny. That can certainly change a star or two. But as far as the store itself is concerned, it is great. The moment you walk in you just feel like this is a gaming store of old, thats all about having fun and the genius enjoyment of gaming culture. The store deals with very retro games and modern ones too. Its remencient of the old Funcolands that used to be around when many of us were kids. They have several gaming related products too that are just cool to look at or take home. I was really impressed. Another huge reason why the place just feels so positive is because of the guy behind the counter. He is a real deal gamer and not someone who only enjoys the modern call of duty games and what not, he goes back, way back. Its very refreshing to see a mature game who gets it, who knows that games are about having fun and knows the joy that comes along with sharing those experiences with others. All in all, the store is a breath of fresh air and I will certainly be back.

A lot of used game places are run by either kids who dont know how to interact with customers or lazy dudes who dont care about customers. I went in to buy pokemon to relive my youth and the guy at the counter was great. He was helpful, kind and as I was leaving, he shouted after me because he realized he had a different version which he hadnt put out yet, in case I wanted that one instead. I felt genuinely taken care of and happy with the service. Another note, everything was VERY clean. It makes a difference when another persons Doritos fingerprints arent all over everything. This will for sure be my retro-game store for a long time.

Prices are relatively high when comparing to items on eBay listing for the same item (buy it now with free shipping). They seem to throw out deals randomly for example to attractive women. Was in the store when this instance happened and I said Ill take a deal too when Im ready. Its a good selection overall and if you have an instant gratification need for a game go to the Maplewood store its way better. Or if you want a better store go to Level up Games in South St. Paul. They will match ebay listing prices or they did to me on secret of mana for SNES.

I agree with Anthony M. The guy with the dreadlocks has a poor attitude, and acts as if he is bothered when you ask him any questions. The prices are ridiculously overpriced, yet they give only pennies on the dollar for your trade- ins. Even Game Central (R.I.P.) was a much better store than this gigantic Shyster run company. Its pretty bad when cruddy Pawn America is a better place to go to get your games sold/bought at a decent price. Poor excuse for a store.

It was a nice place when you get to deal with the right employees..other wise the guy with the dreads or braids what ever the hell they are, has absolutely no business dealing with customers..I did really like this place but now I think id rather order off eBay then deal with that place again

Ive been there a number of times - my son likes to get games there. There is a guy there, Nick, who is simply outstanding. He really seems to enjoy his job, the people, and the games with which he works. Ill go back to this place just to work with people like Nick.

Sells games without required extensions to play it or games that come with the device already. should at least have a 2 day return policy but you can only get store credit making you feel awful after they scam you and you cant do anything about it.

This place has went to crap- ever since the original manager, Tony, left. I wish he was back, but he does own his own game store at the northdale mall.

Friendly, knowledgable staff. This place is definitely NOT "permanently closed" as Google Maps claims. I was there today! It exists, and its open!
