I went to the southtown shopping center a couple months ago and was looking for Virtual currency for NBA 2k16. and vc pricing. I saw a box that said 75000 VC for Nba 2k16. It costed $20 so I asked him (the cash register)how much $50 could get me and he said 200,000. So I gave him $50 and it says the item was non refundable and to press check. So i did. So i get home and redeem my code and the VC never showed up. I sat there waiting for hours and looking up why it wouldnt work. It turns to the guy cheated me and gave me the code for NBA 2k15 instead of NBA 2k16. I contacted NBA 2k16 and they didnt fix it, I also contacted gamestop and sent them the receipt and everything and they didnt do anything about it. Now as a teenager with no job I had just wasted $50, and my player sucks. The cash register acted nice and laid back when he was selling me the wrong VC because he must of known he was tricking me. You guys need new employees or need to do something about my money even though it is non refundable he says. I am thinking about unsubscribing from being a pro member. I really hope they do something about this. Or else I am never going to Gamestop again.

The manager Dave refused my service and told me to go to another store. He wouldnt return a new game that Id purchased that day because it was "open" even though they sold it to me opened. He than proceeded to tell me it was fraud. I dont understand how this is a good business practice. Its beyond unprofessional especially coming from a manager and Im a regular customer. I will still be returning but only because the vita section now a days is bare minimal. Will not look forward to stepping foot inside this location again and will also be canceling my preorders for a full refund or I will leave more negative surveys .

Poor service combined with unmotivated staff! I recently went to this location to trade in a tablet and a phone but the employee was very careless and unmotivated. He refused to apply our 50% extra trade in coupon which was still valid saying that "a credit of more than 1000 wasnt allowed on one card". He had even scratched out our 50% extra trade-in coupon during the trade process and refused to issue a new one. Will never shop at this GameStop again.!

Gamestop remains the best place go if you want in-person video game expertise. The prices arent bad, especially if you buy used, but what keeps me using them instead of always buying online is the people. They are gamers who care about gaming and helping you get a good gaming experience. The Gamestop at Southtown is great, if not a bit small. But the staff is awesome, and thats really what makes all the difference.

Very helpful for buying consoles. The maneuver offered to call me when they brought in new consoles and he even called me ahead of time so I could drive there. I was greeted by name and was giving a console directly from the truck. Also advised to get games that were good and told if my option was not very well rated.

The folks at GameStop greet you by name, and arent afraid to let you know when you pick up a game that isnt that fun. They are the people you want to talk to before investing in ANY kind of video game. They are patient and helpful.

Its a decent GameStop I live next to this one so I tend to go here more but I had a pre order problem I wish I could have just bought this game I pre ordered but they said I should just put down 5 dollars on it.

I was denied a preorder that I came in to pick up at midnight because I didnt pay tax. Wnen I was not charged tax and when I offered they said it was unnecessary
