I bought a wii U 4 "gamecube controllers" a gamecube adapter and smash 4. The total cost was $450. I get home the 4 controllers I bought dont work for the gamecube adapter and dont plug into the wii U and the left analog stick on the game pad is broken. This is unacceptable this is the last time i deal with this gamestop. If the employees dont have knowledge on the things they sell how can I ever trust what they are selling me? from what i leaened today I cant.

A friend called in at 9pm and was told a game release would be at their Midnight event in 3 hours. Upon arriving, they said the event was actually at 11PM because the company uses Eastern time for the release. The store is in Minnesota, you think that would have been vital information to mention on the phone. Said once the computers are shutdown, they couldnt sell anymore so we had to go somewhere else to pick the game up.

Called the store and was told they were doing a MIDNIGHT event launch. However when I got there, the event actually was at 11 pm. For some reason a Minnesota store was operating off of Eastern time and expecting their customers to be able to figure that out. I had been going to this GameStop for many years, but I think its time to cut the ties with that company.

Good spot for gamers. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. Closing at 6pm on a Sunday of all days is pretty ridiculous and the reasoning for losing an extra star.
