Im commenting because I was about to call this GameStop and noticed the terrible reviews. I read them and was astounded. And then immediately annoyed. Im trying to now even it out ( the rating) because the store has a 2.5 rating because impatient children cant wait their turn. You dont rate someplace 1 star because you had to wait in line longer than you wanted. That isnt how rating works. It screws up the system. I have always had a great experience whenever I go to Monticello GameStop. They are helpful, polite and courteous. They are always more than willing to take the time to explain how kids games like skylanders, Disney infinity and Lego dimensions work. This saves me a massive amount of time and their knowledge has always been spot on. Ive never had a question that they couldnt answer. And before someone says, "oh this is some old parent that doesnt get video games! Wrong!" I am 32 and I play video games myself. Be happy that we have a GameStop in a town of 12,000 people. If we didnt you would have to drive 20 miles to maple grove or st cloud. Thats why its busy a lot of the time. There is one store for the whole town, so anyone that games goes here. Learn patience and humility. The people that work at GameStop arent making a whole lot of money. How would you like having to help some highschool kid or someone that is in their early 20s nerd raging because they are out of copies of fallout 4? Or because the "LINE TOOK 40 MINUTES!" And they have to be nice to you because if they arent they lose their job. Thats good service, because the kind of service the two crybabies that gave 1 star reviews diserve is a punch in the face. Rant complete! Thanks GameStop workers for being cool and not condescending to people that dont know everything about video games because they have real responsibilities and wives and children. 5 Stars *****!

Ive been in there multiple time on different occasions and gotten just a steam card. Each time Ive been in there, there is at least 2 people working at a time. As you all know the Game Stop checkout is very slow. This store happens to be the worst checkout system I have ever seen, there is 2 registers in the store (like most Game Stops). The past FIVE TIMES I have been in the store I have gotten my usual and waited in a VERY LONG LINE!!! I can handle waiting in a line if the employees are at least trying to help costumers. when I was waiting in the line only one employee ringing people up, she was also on the phone at the same time helping someone. While me and 6 other people wait in line for this poor lady to get us all rapped up, another employee was leaning on the counter watching the whole thing happen. I eventually asked him if he was gunna help cause I know I wasnt the only one who wanted to spend his whole day waiting in line in Game Stop. THE GUY CHOSE TO IGNORE ME AFTER I ASKED HIM MULTIPLE TIMES!!! It wasnt like he was watching the lady to train her cause I have seen her in there for a long time. I can understand that he is probably a manager but really when there is a long line you arent gunna help??? I will never shop there again cause every time this happens.... I will go way out of my way and go the the elk river Game Stop just to avoid this terrible store...

Absolutely awesome service! Have never had a bad experience. Anytime I have a technical difficulty or question or concern, I call one time and get the answer right away! Customer service is amazing. I do not understand why there are reviews on here of people bashing the customer service. I have never had any issues.

Customer Service is OK at best, but the stores policies... an employee literally bought my pre-ordered copy of a game, so I had to wait for them to get another one, and their return policy only allows for store-credit refunds. What kind of business is that? not one Ill be returning to.

I have a Pro Members card to GameStop so I always bring my games in there and put my credits toward newer games, which gains points as well as giving a discount on used games. Theres a huge selection of games and consoles to choose from. And other collectibles too.

Decent sized store but, employee was steady on the phone with a friend the whole time I was there and when asking about games came up he was quick to shoot a fast answer and go back to his phone conversation.

The customer service is terrible you pick up the phone tell them to hold on a second and deal with the people in line. I was waiting in line for about 40 minutes to buy a game. It ridiculous!!
