I work for Kroger currently and personally, its by far the easiest job Ive had so far. I only make almost $200 a week and I dont have much of an issue with that. Of course Id like to be paid more, but I have fairly easy tasks to complete, so only getting paid $200 a week for it seems reasonable. Ive worked for another grocery store that gave me harder tasks and paid minimum wage for it. The managers at that particular grocery store were very biased and judgmental. They stereotyped me and assumed I was a bratty teen without even trying to get to know me. At Kroger, management has treated me well, they didnt expect me to be proficient in my position as soon as I started and they all around just treat their employees good. Moral of the story is, youre not going to get paid $11 an hour to do an $8 an hour job. This does not apply to all departments because I havent worked all of them. Also, from what Ive seen, fellow employees have been excellent a providing service and help to customers in need. Theyre polite and do their jobs very well.

Amazing what even just the slightest bit of kind conversation can do. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to pick up some side dishes for dinner at the Deli. As I was deep in thought I became aware of someone a bit in the background asking how I was. I responded " very well, thank you". D.J. was busy with a task but put down what he was doing and asked if he could help. I couldnt see what I wanted but remembered the name Tuscan. In a flash he pointed it out. I asked for a pound. I guess Ill make a long story a little shorter. He was professional, made eye contact, responded with questions with more than a grunt, and was very pleasant. What really got me.....is when I went home to fill out the survey from the receipt I found myself rating higher than normal. Amazing what a little bit of good communication with a customer can do! Thanks D.J.!!!

One of the best places to buy meat in town. Be sure to get your Kroger savings card, it saves quite a bit and sales are often only offered to card holders. They send custom coupons periodically on stuff you buy often! Also dont forget to load the Free Friday coupons every Friday! You can only download the coupons on Friday, but can use them up to 3(?) weeks later. Staff is helpful and friendly. One of the few places that will still help you to your car if you need it! I truly appreciated this after stomach surgery when lifting was not only painful but I couldnt lift anything over 5 pounds or risk intestinal hernia!

I stopped in last night after work and had to navigate the newly remodeled store fairly quickly. A gentleman named James approached me and asked if I needed help locating anything. I had a few items that I hadnt found and James took the time to walk me across the store to find what I needed. He is such an asset to your staff and I appreciate the time he took to walk me where I needed to go instead of just pointing. He made my shopping experience enjoyable, and I was able to get in and out fairly quickly rather than wandering around. The store looks amazing, by the way!!

love they new remodeled store. Fantastic bakery and produce to die for!! Only thing I hate about Kroger is bad management and very very low pay. high turnover and not much opportunity to grow. Not good at all. Kroger is one of biggest companies in America and pay crap and most of the jobs are part-time and bad managers at kroger. I hate seeing a high turnover when kroger could treat there employees bette Kroger where where in the top ten for lowest paying company in America on google and high turnover sad sad sad.

Everything is dependent on being a member for the best prices, which is a turn off as going to other places and having a variety of options is what any normal person would want. It isnt a gym or a prestigious club, its a grocery store. That being said, they have a surprisingly nice selection of goods

Krogers of Richmond is my favorite store to shop for groceries. They carry a huge selection of Organic food items through out the store. The Deli and Produce Departments carry a huge variety of food items. I especially like their selection of fish and seafood. I love my local Kroger Store..

This store has fallen on hard times due to the construction of the super Walmart next door but aside from the lack of people it doesnt show. Its been there for ages but still looks newish. Its quite pleasant inside and has a great selection of products. I want to shop here more often.

Its not too far from my house by bus. Has most items I need w/o fighting the Walmart crowd. Always $1-2 more tho. Less stressful to pop into in daytime. Clean, organized place. Employees dont run when you approach them, like Walmarts do.

Using the Kroger coupon app saves us quite a bit. Beware of the gas price in front of the store is wrong both of the last times I have been there. That almost cost me over 20¢ per gallon if I hadnt noticed the price on the pump.

Really nice Kroger. The deli selections were very fresh as were the selections from the meat counter. They have cold Cider available if you need a cold alcoholic beverage and the liquor store isnt open.

This Kroger isnt huge so it doesnt have as much compared to Meijer across the street. Krogers had more interesting flavors of soda, like peach or pineapple. The staff is more friendly here too.

This place is ALWAYS super busy and the customer service isnt the greatest in the grocery area. However, the pharmacy staff members are phenomenal!
