12/17/2015 Update: I just got a notification from my credit monitoring service. Andy Mohr ran my credit three times the day I bought my truck, and each time is a point against me. Thanks again, Andy Mohr! Original review: Never again. If I ever need another GM product, I will drive all the way to Crumback-Symons Chevrolet in New Haven, Indiana or Stanley Chevrolet in McCordsville, Indiana before I ever do business with this dealer again. I needed a very specific type of truck in a very specific price range, and that left me with two trucks to choose from within 500 miles. One was the truck I bought from Andy Mohr, and the other one was a Diesel in Martinsville. Andy Mohrs sales process is old-school, and by old school I mean pressure, empty promises, excuses and hucksterism. Before and during the test drive, I mentioned the seemingly flat tire and perhaps we should fill it up before driving it. Oh, no worries. It will be fine, salesman says. They "serviced" the truck before I took delivery and found the tire "just needed a little air." Three days, three trips to the tire store and a hundred bucks out of my life, and the tire was damaged. Andy Mohr did eventually provide a new tire, but this should have been addressed before they put the truck on the lot. The oil may have been changed. Its hard to tell as the sensor was never reset. The inside of the truck was filthy, and the salesman busted tail to get it cleaned up before I drove off, and I didnt have the heart to tell him I could have done better in less time. I was told I would have my loan through Teachers Credit Union at one interest rate, but two weeks later get loan information in the mail from a different credit union at a different interest rate. Additionally, they falsely inflated my income based on the information I provided. This was mentioned to the "Finance Guy," and he assured me that was just fine as they factored in the rental income I provided. The math, however, would have made Al Gore proud. The haggling over the trade-in is another sore subject, especially when I see the truck listed on their website for much more than I was told they would be able to sell it for... My wife and I successfully worked with Community Chrysler Jeep on the purchase of our last truck, and I am kicking myself for getting talked out of the Diesel truck they had that met my needs. My Chevy is a great truck, but the process I had to go through to get it was one I absolutely will not repeat. Lesson learned. I was weak and in a big gosh-darned hurry and got taken for a Missouri Boat Ride.

This place is a racket. My girlfriend had bought her current vehicle from Andy Mohr about a year ago, and was told if she wanted to trade it in, they would get her a good deal. She called and they told her they could lease her a 2016 Cruz for her price range. Off we went on our only day off, to the dealership. Almost a 2 hours drive that was a complete waste. Our salesman was TROY FOX. Completely and utterly unprofessional. Was rude and not nice in the least. Basically made it seem like we were just wasting his time. He couldnt stay off his phone. He asked for the info on the trade in, which we provided, and off he went to check the value. He comes back and says I kelly blue booked it and it says trade in value is 2500. So I thought that seemed low and with this thing called the internet, looked it up for myself. For her car, the minimum trade in value was 2600 and the max was 3400. So he lies, first thing. He then proceeds to tell us that in no way possible can he even come close to her price range which is the opposite of what we were told on the phone. The only way is with a "bonus tag". So he proceeds to show us the "bonus tag Cruzs. All were substantially overpriced compared to their online price and compared to other dealerships. When we asked if we could look at some others, he seemed irritated and basically told us the only way we were getting a car was with a "bonus tag". He was a straight up jerk about the whole process, used very unprofessional language, and didnt seem to care when we said we were leaving and that he wasnt working with us at all. If he would have not been a complete jerk throughout the process, and worked with us a bit on a deal, the payment could have been raised. We make more than enough to pay for a "non bonus tag car " we just dont want a 400$ LEASE payment for something that just isnt worth it. In the end, Ive heard Saturday they have a quota of cars to sell, and that would explain this guys attitude, in a rush, pushy, lied to us, only wanted to show us what he wanted us to see, and acted like we were bothering him or wasting his time, from the start. We left Andy Mohr and had a much more pleasant visit at Bill Estes Chevrolet. We wont be back again and we will spread the word on Andy Mohr. And judging by the other reviews, neither will a lot of people.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH! DISHONEST THIEVES!! In January I bought a used vehicle (almost $20k) from this dealership. They changed the price on the vehicle three times while negotiation but thats not why you shouldnt walk in their door. 1. They sold me the car without telling me their mechanic in the back broke a $900 caliper while taking it off for no reason. They knew this before I went in to sign the papers and told me I could drive it that day. Then let me know after I signed the papers that I will have to wait an unknown amount of time until the part comes in. Had to drive to/from the north side to Plainfield three separate times because they broke parts on my car. 2. When I finally came to pick up my car, they STOLE: A. The touch screen head unit and replaced it with the stock one B. An amplifier in the trunk C. My floor mats D. My vender specific car alarm key fob ($90 replacement). All these were in the car during test drive and purchase. Were missing when I came back a few days later to pick the vehicle up after they fixed the caliper they broke. A manager had to have a mechanic bring my stereo head unit back WHICH WAS IN HIS CAR THAT HE TOOK HOME. They refused to acknowledge the amp, floor mats, and alarm fob. I am certain they were in there as I have the phone number from the previous owner who said hes sure he traded it in with those items. THIEVES!! 3. Sales attempted to swindle me with extremely high interest rates. I know this is a common technique that not many people know about, but its still shady. The financial person tried to banter me with 10%+ interest rates telling me thats the best they could possibly do for me. I knew this wasnt true so decided to walk and she "magically" found a <6% rate... 4. I signed paperwork for a 54 month loan. When I started payments with the credit union I was informed it was a 60 month loan. BE CAREFUL! Andy Mohr Chevrolet. I know youre a mega dealership, but every sale counts and I have been doing my best to keep every single person I know to not touch your vehicles. I am VERY involved in the street scene (coincidentally the people that buy cars the most) in Indianapolis and surrounding cities, and I have informed dozens to hundreds of people on what I have typed above. MAKE THINGS RIGHT.
