Underwhelming experience. Staff was attentive and good in general. Tried their best to accommodate and left me to inspect, but the place was chaotic, lots of people, lots of cars, I had to drive the car off the lot in order to have enough room to open everything up. They must be a volume value dealer. Cars are parked everywhere, even in their grass field area behind the store, no place for customers to park. Not that this is a deal breaker by any means, but my biggest gripe is the condition of all 3 vehicles I looked at were nowhere near "detailed" as the sales person mentioned on the phone for 1 of them which was as he stated "ready to go". I honestly couldnt tell the difference, to me all 3 vans were cruddy and problematic. Most alarming is I found many broken interior trim parts, and body panels not meeting up,, mainly front and rear bumper covers. These were likely non-oem replacements, along with paint bubbles from poor paint job on them and chipping/peeling fresh paint around wheel wells. On the white vehicle i looked over, color of rear bumper did not match rest of vehicle. Not sure where the body and paint work is being done on these vehicles or if it was previous to them receiving, but each of the cars had unacceptable issues for being only a few years old at most. 2 of the 3 were identical vehicles, under 50K miles, only different color and difference of a few K miles, however, they drove considerably different. Alignment, balancing were an issue on one while engine whine and brakes were an issue on the other. Dirty i can accept at this price, but dirty and shoddy maintenance and slapped together body repair work is really stretching what they consider a no-haggle great value. Thanks but no thanks, I will look elsewhere and am willing to pay more if it means avoiding these types of issues that will cost me more money down the road.

We have bought two cars from Auto Express and I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else to buy a car. One of the biggest things that my husband and I hate about car dealerships are the annoying salesmen and all the pressure they put on you while youre shopping for a car. Auto Express is not like that at all and it is a breath of fresh air. There are no annoying, lingering salesmen and there is no pressure. All of the cars on the lot are unlocked and ready for you to look at. When we were looking for a car we had a couple of things in mind of what we wanted, but were open to just about any make of car. We were able to go around and look at any car we wanted to to figure out which one wed like to test drive. When we were ready, we went to the front office, they copied our drivers license, gave us a magnetic plate, and we were free to drive any vehicle on the lot. All we had to do was transfer that metal plate to a different car by ourselves and we were off. You dont have to let them know when you get back and/or that youre going to drive another car. There is complete freedom and flexibility for the buyer. If we had any questions, the staff was ready and available to answer any questions that we had about a particular vehicle or any other information about the buying/selling/or trading of a car. The customer service is great and goes beyond just the sale of a car. We had purchased a car and had asked for a small part to be replaced and they were so great. They had to order the new piece and called us as soon as it came in so that we could bring the car buy to have the new piece replaced at no additional cost or hassle. I would, and have multiple times already, highly recommend Auto Express as the go to place in Lafayette for buying or trading a car. You will not regret it.

I normally dont write reviews but these guys are such class acts that I felt compelled to. First of all, their listed price was the lowest I found online within a 150 mile radius from where I lived. And when I went in to look at the car in person, the salesperson got the car and let me inspect it and test drive it by myself with no pressure (apparently, they are not on commission). I told him I was very interested and he let me take it home for the weekend and told me I can even take it to my mechanic to have it inspected and that they would take care of any issues. Secondly, they gave me a fair value for my trade in. It came in right at the Kelly Blue Book trade-in value and above the Edmunds TMV value. Between that and the fair initial list price of the car, I did not need to haggle (they dont haggle anyways). So the whole process went very quickly and the actual paperwork took less than an hour. They didnt even charge a doc fee. The best way to describe them is that they are honest and honorable. Everything is transparent and upfront. Finally, even after I signed the paper work, they were willing to take care of a few things that I had pointed out like a few spots in the carpet etc. They did such a great job cleaning the carpet, I was blown away because it was essentially a full detail. And this is AFTER they had made the sale. In past experiences with other dealers, I found that once they made the sale, they pretty much ignored you. But not this place. Just classy all the way through. Anyways, the bottom line is if you are in a market for a used car, save yourself a lot of grief and just go Auto Express. They are the best dealer Ive ever dealt with.

Absolutely love this place! Great quality vehicles at honest fair prices. Awesome salesmen and customer care too! When they say no pressure no hassle they honestly mean it. First time in my life that Ive ever had any salesman tell me "take the weekend and think about it" and not trying to get me locked into a deal right there on the spot. I drove 2 1/2 hours from the chicagoland area and dont regret it at all. Ill be driving the 2 1/2 hours back to auto express when Im on the market for another vehicle. I bought a 2013 deep flame blue f150 crew cab fx4 on 6/10/17. It only had 54,000 miles on it and was still under factory warranty. My estimated payments were well within my budget, so I added a 60,000 mile warranty through auto express. Even the extended warranty is of great quality. The warranty covers small things like o2 sensors and even brake calibers! But I have to say, the thing that I appreciate most is that the salesman dont work off commission. It doesnt matter if they sell you a vehicle or not because their paycheck doesnt depend on it. NO PRESSURE, NO HASSLE!!!!! I love it! Ill be an auto express customer for life. Hands down. Check the place out for yourself, you wont regret it! Thanks again guys, I love my new f150 fx4. Ill be back for a mustang soon, John Mucha
