A couple of months ago, my sister inadvertently took an antique family ring in and sold it here. She was given $1500 for it. A few days later, after I found out what happened, I called to see about buying the ring back. I was given a runaround and was eventually told "well, I have to make money too." In order to get the ring back, I had to pay $3700 dollars. No sympathy for a mistake made with a family heirloom just a few days earlier. And to show how badly my sister was ripped off, the ring she sold to Touch of Silver, Gold, and Old for $1,500 was appraised for $11,000. Do not sell your jewelry here.
