I recently had the pleasure to work with Greg to help select an engagement ring for my fiancé. I walked in to this ordeal inexperienced and confused when it comes to jewelry. Being that I was so unfamiliar with the process I really needed to work with someone that I could trust. After speaking with a few friends Greg and Windsor Jewelry Company came highly recommended. I live in the Philadelphia area so logistically this should have been very difficult and I am thankful that Greg was able to be a trusted advisor for me. I was very intimidated at the beginning, but Greg did a great job of fielding my MANY questions. His attentiveness was crucial to making sure the process went smoothly. The best part about working with Windsor and Greg is that they truly care. Greg spent a considerable amount of time searching for the perfect diamond for the ring that was within my budget. I truly appreciate the time and effort that he put forth to make this a wonderful experience for me and my future wife. The ring was more beautiful than I ever imagined. I live in Athens, GA and heard about Windsor Jewelry through a family friend. I recently got married and wanted to custom design a ring for my wife. After talking to many jewelry stores and getting very high quotes for what I was looking for, I called Greg Bires. Greg spent 3 months helping me design a ONE OF A KIND perfect ring for my wife. There isnt a day that does by without her getting stopped or complimented on it. Through the entire process I felt informed, educated, and as much a part of the design process as the stone cutter was. Greg helped me build the dream ring for my bride. We were so happy with his work that I had him custom make a wedding band as well. I will never go anywhere else for our jewelry needs. They require you to give them personal information (address, email, etc.) if you put anything on a credit card - including a simple $10 watch battery. That is ridiculous!!!!! When I asked the clerk why they needed so much personal information, she acted like a snot and was condescending, but could not answer my question. Though the battery replacement was done quickly and for a good price, I ended up paying cash so that they didnt get my lifes history just for a watch battery - and I will not go back again if I see this jerk of a woman still working there.

Windsor Jewelry and its owner, Greg Bires, give the best service Ive ever had. Since we moved away from Indianapolis in 2000, we have not found another jeweler that comes close to providing the wonderful products and service that they provide.We really miss not having someone we can trust to take care of any purchase, big or small, and have had to rely on long distance help from them. They continue with their excellent service from afar. I heartily recommend this wonderful Jewelry store, you will not be disappointed.

I am a watch collector and very picky about my watches and who I let work on them. I dropped in for a minor bracelet problem and found that Windsor has a real Watchmaker on site and he knows his stuff! He was able to get my bracelet fixed in minutes for a very small charge and give me some advice on how to better adjust it myself. They also have a nice selection of Tissot watches that are a very nice value in a swiss watch. I will certainly drop in again and recommend them to others.

Windsor is a downtown gem (pun intended). We drive in from the suburbs to take advantage of their cleaning, repair and sales services, even cashing in old jewelry of our own. The owner and staff are very helpful and work with us on payment plans, how to save as gold and diamonds shoot upwards in price, discuss families, trips, vacations, etc. We are also fond of the antique/estate jewelry and have several great pieces from that section. In summary, a small store with a big heart.

They took plenty of time, even going beyond the store closing hours, to show me all sorts of watches . . . watches in the display, watches in the back, custom ordered watches for other people . . . until I was able to get an idea of what I liked and what I could afford. Than, they custom ordered a watch for me of my own making. It was a great brand, great quality, and a very fair price that I would have had trouble beating if I shopped around. I am impressed and will return.

Greg, Lynn, and the whole team at Windsor Jewelry were wonderful to work with! They first helped my fiance pick out my dream engagement ring and then just helped us pick out our wedding bands!
