Steve Brown is an incredibly genuine, knowledgeable, and intuitive person in the jewelry business. I came to him after very little luck with several jewelry stores around Indianapolis. He won me over very quickly by his honesty and desire to help me find the perfect engagement ring. I sent him 2 ring ideas that I had found and described my girlfriend’s style and he was able to merge those ideas and come up with a ring that ended up being PERFECT for my girlfriend. On top of being in tune with what I wanted, he was extremely conscious of my budget and timeline. At the time, I had only a few weeks left before I planned to propose; he took that into consideration and communicated with me multiple times along the way about the ring’s progress leading up to the finished engagement ring. I got a beautiful yellow gold engagement ring from him, which my now fiancé LOVES. She even had the opportunity to meet him after the proposal to get the ring resized, and shared the same feelings I did for the quality of his work and his desire for the best possible experience for us. Needless to say, we’re both huge fans of Steve Brown and we can’t wait to come back later to design our wedding bands! I highly recommend doing business with him, you won’t be disappointed!!

Steve Brown is the best jeweler to work with in any area of jewelry. We got our wedding bands from him and they are perfect - exactly what we wanted and more. He even went beyond my expectations without hesitation on his end. He works on any ideas you have and brings it to life. He is very personable and honest. He will make sure his work is the best and makes the process very enjoyable. He is the only person I will work with for any future jewelry purchases. I felt very comfortable with him and knew I was getting the best possible product at a perfect price. His wife, Kathy, was amazing at providing a wonderful selection of watches and earrings from which to choose. She overnighted my order (at no extra charge) so that I could have my earrings in time for my bridesmaids before the wedding. There is not enough praise I could give or say about the honesty, high quality, low cost, wonderful attitude, and great people skills they have. I will never shop at another jewelers. I have been too overly satisfied with their work to warrant going else. Despite moving to Massachusetts, I will be able to work with them still and that is wonderful!

Im from Texas, but I walked into Steves shop on a whim while on a trip to Indianapolis. I was hunting for an engagement ring and was having difficulty finding that perfect ring. Steve showed me some of his work and said if I had a design in mind, just shoot it to him via email and hed at least give me some friendly advice. I sketched out a design and sent it off to Steve with a budget. He made some comments and suggestions on the design and said he could put that ring together in my budget. Steve then took my rough design and turned it into an outstanding ring. The finished product was amazing!! He found the perfect diamond and added those little elements I wanted that made the ring personal and meaningful. All within my original budget! Steve even overcame a difficulty with one of his material suppliers to get me the ring before my deadline. Great customer service and quality work.

Second, he has a vision and creative talent that is unmatched by anyone out there. Third, he will go out of his way to make sure you get your product when you need it, and he strives to make the process easy and enjoyable. I just purchased a gorgeous engagement ring from Orofino, and Steve looked at all the ideas we had and combined the best of the best into one ring. I was lucky enough to hear about Steve and Orofino from a friend who had worked with Steve before. When I went in to meet Steve I had spent the last several weeks unsuccessfully trying to find the perfect engagement ring for my then girlfriend. I had a picture in my mind, but know very little about jewelry and I just couldnt find what I want. Within 10 minutes I was totally at ease and knew I was in good hands. He made me a beautiful ring, stayed inside of my budget, and got it to me in plenty of time. My fiancé loves it and we even get compliments about the ring from strangers several times per week. We first came to Orofino Jewelers for a ring resizing about a year ago. Steve had us in and out within an hour with a perfectly resized ring. This last month we returned to have a custom wedding band made to match the engagement ring I bought for my wife. Dropped my wedding ring in the garbage disposal, should never have been washing my hands while it was running in the first place, but I was. My ring was mangled, bent, looked horrible. Took it in to Orofino and Steve had it back to me in 30 minutes. The ring looks fantastic!!! Steves customer service, knowledge, and experience cannot be matched, not to mention he charges significantly less than jewelry stores. When it comes to jewelry I will be going to Orofino for life.
