Two main reasons I shop at Home Depot: Service and pet friendly. Me and a friend was trying to solve a spacing issue for the garage in her house (is actually more complicated than it sounds). Not sure which way is the best solution, we went to Home Depot. In 10mins we were being ask if we needed help. We explained our situation and the service guy said that he has no idea how to solve our problem. So he asked to be excuse for few mins so he can ask another guy for help. In 5mins he came back with a crew of 6 service members and start brainstorming it together with us. I was very impressed with the team work that I saw that day. There are just many more great experiences I had at Home Depot where service members went above and beyond to help me. Even help me save money by giving me great suggestions. Thumbs up. Also, I really appreciate that they are a pet friendly store. I prefer driving extra 15mins to HD instead of Menards which is just 5mins away from me just because they are a pet friendly store.

Some of the prices arent the best, but I spend a LOT of time in home improvement stores, and I know which ones to go to for what products. For example, trim selection here is incredibly nice, and decently priced, but the real benefit is you can purchase by the foot, you dont have to buy the whole section. Either way, this is about the only place Ive ever found knowledgeable employees past telling me where to find an item. a lot of these guys actually know stuff about installation and maintenance of the departments theyre in.

Laughing at your customers is probably not a good idea. I asked two clerks standing next to each other where the chuck key holders would be, assuming they probably would be located near the drills. They didnt know what I was talking about. In fact, they looked at me like I was crazy. One suggested that I use wire or a plastic tie to hold it on the cord. As I walked toward the drill aisle, not 6 feet away, I heard them laugh behind my back with the tone of "can you believe these stupid customers?"

For my past visit this HD only had self-checkout lines open. Meanwhile progressive companies like Costco eliminated self checkouts as they found employee-led lines were faster and more effective. Add to this the loss of jobs to our local economy... No thanks, Ill shop elsewhere from now on.

Used to go here alot. Until I realized everything is way overpriced. Respirator filters are $17/pair here, same ones on amazon for $2/pair. Staff is generally clueless. I was unable to get in store credit for a $700 bathroom set purchase here. I prefer Menards, their prices are way better.

Incredibly dissappointong and unsatisfactory....wanted to order Kraft Maid cabinets today while sale on....No one to help....only works by appointment.....we are going away for holiday and had to get order in today.....Thank God Lowes also has Kraft Maid....heading back there.

Worst customer service ever. The sales associate were very rude and condescending, Management ignores any concerns or complaints. They filter and reject negative product review. Which is kind of misleading at best. Their prices seems to be higher then the local competition.

Great quality on everything, staff was super helpful especially Aaron and Gabe in flooring. They helped with measurements, selection and even loading super nice. Melissa in paint was also great, she was always friendly even though we returned several times.

While I found what I was looking for, it took me four staff members to find firewood, something that seems like it would be easy to find. Other than that, everyone was cheerful!
