Do yourself a favor and DO NOT call this place for service! I called to set up the appt and got their answering machine. I left a message. This was during normal business hours. No one called me back so I called them again the following day and someone answered. They made my appt and when I asked what time they would be arriving I was told it could be at any time on my appt day but they would call first. So this means that I have to clear my schedule for the whole day bcus someone doesnt know how to use time management. I realize service calls can be unpredictable, however, a general idea on a arrival time is good business. The repairman did call just before showing up. Two older gentlemen showed up. It was raining outside and neither of them bothered to wipe their feet or put shoe covers on after entering my home. Repairman #1 had to kneel and lay on my kitchen floor to work on my dishwasher. Normally this isnt an issue except for the fact that his a&$ crack was showing in the back and his gut was hanging out in the front. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I have children in my home who do not need to see that and I dont want to see that!! After they figured out what the problem was they proceeded to put everything back together. They failed! I found two screws that they had removed from my dishwasher on the floor! I was informed that the part needed to be ordered and it would take a week. I called them six days later bcus I had not received any calls from them. Again, I get their answering machine and I leave a message. The next day I call them back yet again and get their answering machine. IM DONE! Judging by the other reviews on here, on Google, and how they have behaved with my appt its very clear that they do not care about their customers or their business. I WILL be requesting that my warranty company remove them from their list of repairmen in the area. My warranty company recommended them. You do NOT have to use who they recommend. They have a list of repairmen and you can pick from that list.

First we explained what the issue was with the dryer. Made an appointment. Guy called that morning, said the part would have to be ordered. Took a week to get another appointment, good thing I didnt take off work to be there for the first appointment. Repairman came out to repair dryer heater element. Did not replace dryer vent when he finished job. If I didnt have a husband or man that could have pulled dryer out and put it back on there is no way I could have moved the heavy dryer and put it back myself. I would have been without a dryer until they could have came back out and did it. He also bent our fuse box cover. I called Duvalls to report this, the lady told me she would get back with me after she talked to him. No call was ever returned. This was a warranty claim. I am going to report this to Lowes as well. Will never have Duvalls work on anything for me again. Very lazy repairman and very bad customer service.

I called the manufacturer for warranty work and they had Duvall call me. Set up an appt. and the tech came out on time spent 15 mins and said it needs a part. Took about a week and Duvall called me and told me the part came in. Set up another appt. and I was told the tech would call me first thing in the morning to let me know he was on his way. 1 hour after he was supposed to call, I called Duvall and got their voicemail. I left a message wanting to know the approximate time that they would show up. I received no call from them the entire day and the tech never showed up. NO CALL, NO SHOW. You usually get fired from a job for doing that. I called after 4pm that day, got their voicemail again, and left a message for them to not bother coming out again. Im calling the manufacturer again and requesting another warranty service company. Bottom line do not use Duvall!!

My home warranty company referred and hired this company to inspect and repair my dishwasher on February 26th 2016. Upon their inspection on the 26th, they said the gasket needed replaced and they would call me to set up a replacement service appointment once the part was in. As of March 9th, the gasket part "was on the truck," and not in yet. They said they could go ahead and schedule the replacement for March 11th, assuming they had the part by then. I told them I was unable to be home on Fridays, and because they dont work weekends my only option was to wait until the following Monday, March 14th. So it will take them 17 days to repair a dishwasher gasket. Furthermore, they offered me NO sort of discount or refund due to the inconceivable, unnecessarily long wait. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

ok, so I cannot believe how hateful some of these reviews are! I have had nothing but GREAT service from this company. The people are soo nice, and they know what their jobs consist of. They are on time, they double check their work, make return calls, and do not mind answering any questions you might have. I would definetely recommend them for all your appliance needs. I give them an 8 overall because people its 2010, and if you cant tell take a look around no business is perfect. Maybe if people would spend a little less time over-reacting and being impatient and rude; you might get the GOOD service you think you deserve!! Good job to all the hard working employee @ Duvalls Appliance Service of Camby :-) especially the technicians HA!

I did not end up having them come out. They were part of my extended warranty. My first encounter was with someone answering phone and seemed annoyed that I had called. The next time was with someone calling from a cell phone and asked if someone would be home that afternoon. The problem was they didnt identify who they were or what company they were with, just said they needed to come out to check out appliance. I wasnt comfortable after bad experiences with A&E appliance repair.

I had the company send a repairman named Karl to fix my fridge a couple months ago and had a good experience with him. I tried to call Duvalls again this past week for another fridge (rental house) first thing Friday morning left a message and didnt hear anything back. I left several messages and never got any kind of response. I understand taking a vacation but let people know if you cant call them back. Kinda stinks to loose all your refrigerated food waiting for a response.

I have been waiting for almost six weeks now for the repair on my dishwasher, when I call I get their recording telling me how busy they are and they will call me back. In the meantime I have been without my dishwasher. now 6 weeks Monday. They first came on nov 14 and nothing since. Now they dont even answer my phone calls. I highly suggest if you need appliance repair do not call Duvall.

TERRIBLE COMPANY Well If I could get them to respond I could tell someone about the service. But after 4 business days of dealing with the secretary/receptionist, I have made at least 6 calls speaking to her and two messages on the machine to them. Still no responses. "The note is on his desk" she says. They do not need/want my business. TERRIBLE COMPANY.
