I have never wrote anything like this before but I think it is neccesary to unmask the giant. On March 9th 2016 me and my wife went to this Home Depot to get some fencing material. My wife did not see the misplaced gutter guard that was protruding out of the Shelf 1 1/2 feet (when it should of been in a box) . My wife cut her finger and received 12 stitches. (MY WIFE NOW HAS PERMANENT DAMAGE TO HER FINGER AND CANNOT MOVE IT). An employee was in the same aisle when the accident happened. Why he didnt see the putruding guard before my wife got cut I dont know. I asked the employee to call a manager. He came back with 3 managers. The managers told me to go to the emergency room and that THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF ALL THE HOSPITAL BILLS. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME AN INCIDENT REPORT WHEN I ASKED. They REFUSED TO give me there names also. I took their word for it since my wife was bleeding everywhere. The med bill came in for $2k-3k and now their coperate office is REFUSING to pay. At 1st they would call me 2-3 times a week to check up and reassure us the bills would be paid no problem. The bill came in. Now its our problem. THEY ARE REFUSING TO PAY! THEY STATED THEY ARE A SELF INSURED COMPANY AND THATS TO MUCH MONEY. ACCORDING TO THEM IT IS NOW OUR FAULT. What really bothers me the most is that ALL 3 MANAGERS ARE LYING AND STATE THEY NEVER OFFERED ANY MED ASSIST. IF THAT WAS TRUE WHY DID Corporate CALL AND ASK US IF WE HAD GOTTEN THE BILL YET SO THEY CAN PAY THEM. THEY ALSO ASKED IF I WAS GOING TO GET A LAWYER. ANOTHER home depot employee at their corporate office even went as far as asking me If I took pics off the gutter guard. She said if I did not have any pics, how can I prove their was really a gutter guard there in the 1st place. Excuse me? My wife was bleeding all over the place and the last thing on my mind was taking a picture! I didnt plan on having to prove the obvious. By the way, the 1st thing your manager did when he came on the scene was yank that protruding gutter guard off the shelf. (Go figure) I told corporate to go to the video footage. OH AND BY THE WAY. The security camera on that aisle was broken that day. SO NOTHING WAS RECORED according to Home Depot. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO HOME DEPOT FOR THE LAST 25YRS AND FROM NOW ON IM GOING ELSEWHERE. WE DO HAVE MED INSURANCE BUT ITS ONLY COVERS 1/4 bill DUE TO HIGH DEDUCTIBLE. IM NOT ASKING FOR A PITY PARTY. JUST VENTING BECAUSE I CAN. MORAL OF THE STORY. CHECK YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU GO INTO HOME DEPOT BECAUSE IF SOMETHING FALLS OFF A SHELF AND KILLS /HURTS YOU , YOUR ON YOUR OWN! SCORE- 1 FOR THE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR GIANT 0 FOR YOUR AVERAGE HARD WORKING CITIZEN.

I made an online order for over $300 for parts I forgot when I left NJ for a job in the area. I made the order a day in advance and was notified it was ready. I got caught in traffic and knew I would be cutting it close to their 9:00PM closing time, so I called and asked if I could pick up my already paid for and boxed parts if I arrived at 9:05PM. I was rudely told that they close at 9:00PM, no exceptions. I drove like a mad-man, was in that parking lot by 8:40PM, and they were closed already!!! The employees standing around inside talking and laughing ignored me as I knocked on the doors. I will obviously cancel my order, and I will obviously never give this location a cent of my money! And honestly, I am reconsidering using Home Depot at all... Graingers & Lowes seem a lot more attractive now...

Im just wondering who hires the employees here? They are absolutely useless, I mean they basically run away from you when they see you looking for help. When you do find someone and ask for help, they say something like " yeah, its on aisle 5, on the left." They cant even walk me to the item Im looking for? Then it usually ends up not even being in that aisle. Corporate needs to talk to the managers and get their employees on track...Decent customer service is all I ask for. Today was my last at this home depot.

Usually Home Depots are known for there great customer service. At this particular Home Depot no one greeted us and asked us do we need some help. We asked one employee where the storm doors were located and with a snarling attitude he told us "all the way to the wall and turn right." Before we could ask another question or get any further help he asked another person did they want some help. I dont plan to return to this Home Depot, and neither do I suggest anyone go there if they are needing any help.

Tried to take back a hammer that I just bought, havent even used, and the lady working the desk was very rude with me. Theres no calling for that. She told me she couldnt take it back because it was used. Well first of all I just didnt like the hammer I bought it to try it out, secondly why do you have a return program if you cannot return items that arent up to standard. Ive returned all kinds of things at home depot all across the United States without every in countering this problem.

Do not purchase tools from Home Depot if you value your warranty. It is basically a waste of money. I bought a replacement warranty on my blower only for it to fail 6 months later and the warranty not be honored. It is still out for repair since I turned it in over a month ago and I am having to pay for all the work done. Lowes beats the Home Depot hands down. Home Depot will never have my service again no matter how big or small a purchase.

Formerly always enjoyed shopping at this Home Depot. It was low key, employees were great and had a good general selection of items. Today I was harassed and bullied by someone they had roaming the aisles asking if I was a home owner (presumably trying to sell services.) After they ignored repeated attempts for them to leave me alone, I finally had to leave. There are many places to buy things where they wont bother you like this.

I will never shop there again. I personally spend thousands there a year, not including the thousands my company spends there. I got cussed out by a employee after accidently wondering in the Christmas tree section were the wrap the trees " Steve" who works there told me to get my a** out off that area. After I told him I didn't see a sign posted employees only he said here's your Fu**in sign and flipped me off.

Ive been to this Home Depot on other occasions with great service however these last visits have been very disappointing to say the least. I have to drive past 2 Lowes to get here only to be treated unprofessionally, I would normally rather deal with Home Depots distance then go to Lowes or another builders type store but now I think thats all changed with this stores attitude bye for now Home Depot
