Poor service. If you call for tech support, you have a lengthy wait only to leave your name & number & wait for a call back. I have been waiting all day. The "fiber" is not available in my area, which means I get very poor internet connection only to be told it is due to them changing over, but yet no idea when it will be available in my area. They have a monopoly in my area so I have no choice but to be with Smithville, I have been with them for over 10 years and still dealing with this nonsense

they wont even give me service because I was on someones account to be able to speak on their behalf because they didnt understand this kind of stuff so because they apparently didnt pay their bill and I was given permission to speak with them ONE Time i cant get their service unless I pay their bill. so FYI dont ever allow anyone to verbally say its ok for a company to speak with u instead of them bc u will be held accountable for payment if u vendors want their service.

Only get these guys if fiber is available in your area. I used to play league of Legends on a slower connection with perfect 20 ping, and now I cant play League of Legends without random 2k ping spikes that stay for ages. Their DSL has the worst latency Ive ever seen, and you can bet Im dropping them soon.
