My husband was an AT&T customer for more than 10 years and the only reason we decided to switch to another carrier is because the places we go on vacation do not have AT&T service. We called AT&T to pay off the phone, so he can keep it, they said to unlock the phone we need to go the a store and they will do it within 5 min. It was after 7 PM and we were at out new providers store ready to switch. We went to AT&T store in Pinnacle, Trussville the next morning to get the phone unlocked, where we were told that we need to call customer service, because they do not do it at the store. Called customer service, they said: "You need to go online and do it yourself". Went online, the request failed 4 times, even if we know ALL OUR INFORMATION. Called customer service, asked to speak to a supervisor, which surely we did not get! Talked to a lady for a long time, she tried, had us on hold, talked to us, tried to unlock it again and was trying to do anything, but not to transfer the call to a supervisor...which I am sure they are told not to do anyways. It was frustrating and we asked to speak to a supervisor again. Using some magic or unknown to us power, she got it fixed in 4 minutes! The entire conversation was 57 minutes. My friend, who used to work for AT&T, told me that the only reason they did not want to unlock the phone in store is because they do not get any commission from this kind of work. If employees really cared about a company they work for, they would never let somebody go through everything we went through! It was so exhausting to have to wait for 10 minutes every time you call them and then they tell you "go online"... Horrible service! Nobody knew how to help us and were finger pointing to each other!

Very disappointed! In the switch over to my new phone, many of my information was lost. I did not realize until that night and on my return to AT&T no one there new nothing about finding my information and further more it was obvious that I was annoying them by even being there. I had to return again because the smart watch was given would not hold a charge and again I had to return to the Trussville AT&T store. Once again it was obvious that they were annoyed that I was there again. I was told to return the next day and they should have it in stocks for an exchange. The young man helping me was not at all friendly and annoyed. Also on our initial visit while purchasing our upgraded phones, our data time was being used up by AT&T. Our phones were not signed into the hot spot. The manager even admitted, by mistake, that when he had to help the sales person get some of the info switched over he had to switch our phones on to the hot spot. The sales person had already been working on our phones for 30 to 45 minutes. If I ever decide to upgrade again I will not use the Trussville store because they apparently are not very knowledgeable about Samsung products nor do they offer pleasant customer service experiences. I will also make sure I share my experience with all my friends and associates.

Worst customer service ever. Jamar was our customer service representative. He was very rude and got annoyed by any question I asked. He never let me finish my questions or payed attention to me. He didnt even say hello or make any eye contact with me. He left me talking by myself and he did not apologize when I told him that he should be nicer with the customers. If that store is a must, ask for another person if you want to be listened too.

The worst service Ive ever received. The manager Bryron refused to help me because "he has staff for that". Ive been with AT&T over ten years longer then hes been employed Im sure. Maybe Ill be a valued customer if it were twenty years!

Terrible customer service! AT&T needs to step it up. Representatives need to be more educated and POLITE!! This experience totally changed my view of AT&T UNPROFESSIONAL!
