Had a very large section of back issues. They were all kept in bags and boards. I did not like the pricing on back issues, or the fact that some of this years releases had stickers right on the cover (even the variants). The enormous man behind the counter makes sure that he has his selection of comic books before customers. He allows individuals to grab several copies of the same book (which normally would be fine, except they only order four or five copies unless its something they enjoy then they will order more). Therefore if you arrive behind the bloated space bogart and slightly after his eating companions, then u will be out of luck for many options of your favorite titles. I will not go back to this place due to the inconsiderate nature of the employee during the day and the "only what we like" selection of their books. Not to mention the family unfriendly dialogue that happens in the "game" area. Dont take your children here after 4 pm.

The guy behind the counter is friendly & helpful. The store has a good variety of material. The games are good, nice representation of cards, board, RPG table top minis (they actually carry BattleTech in store) & video. The comic selection could be bigger but maybe they dont move as much there? A lot of shops survive on other stuff other than comics any more. Back issue selection is nice if over priced (cover? really?). Gaming space in back is clean & comfy. Used games & book section. The place has a little for everyone (dvds & cds too) but sometimes the back used/clearance stuff isnt as clearanced as it could be (again, cover for standard back issues? 1/2 off used books that are kind of ratty? cover price on 3 year old Dragons?) BUT I bought a used Dark Horse Savage Sword of Conan for 1/2 off so take this revie at face value.

I used to visit danger room all the time. I thought it was gone, but I guess they just moved to a ghost town. It was almost impossible to find and the surrounding buildings were all shut down. You walk in and this place looks like it is begging for a mercy killing, not much of a selection at all, and comics arent organized, not even trades. I asked about this and the dude says he puts comics by superhero groups. Just stupid. I also think he orders based off personal preference and not popularity. 3/5 only because it used to be really nice but now its grasping for life.

I am confused by the bad reviews. Our whole family used to go there regularly and the guy that was always there seemed totally cool and friendly. Tbh I am extremely picky about customer service and not that hard to upset but there were no issues at all. He joked around with us a bit, answered all of our questions, and didnt follow us all over the store. I leafed through quite a few comics and no one seemed to mind, of course I wasnt putting my paws all over anything rare or valuable. Also the store is clean and organized.

There are 2 comic book stores in Anderson. This isnt the first one you visit. For avid readers, most have pull lists for each week. This shop offers little incentive to have a pull list from him. He doesnt even bag and board them. The store has trendy gadgets and popular items from the media. It has video games, games, toys, board games, shirts, and more. However, his stock of comics is low on back issues, older comics are over priced, and it just never feels like home in there.

Very unfriendly atmosphere its like theyre mad you came into their store. Bad selection like others have said they basically cater to themselves only ordering what they are into, and when you talk to them its almost as if theyre talking down to you for trying to learn about a game thats new to you. They honestly are not helpful at all and everything they talked me into buying I later regretted. I will not ever be going back.

The last time I got comic books was @ the Mounds Mall before Walden Books closed. When I went in today I told the guy what I wanted & he took me right to it. Ive written it on my calendar to go back once a month. Also, theyve moved from Scatterfield Rd to 833 W. 53rd St, which is a more convenient location for me (the shopping center where the old K- Mart used to be)

Oldest game store in town. This place looks like a retail establishment. Well kept, but the prices are high. Dont expect to find too much marked down. That said, the selection of board games and miniatures is superb, and the store has a very large selection of back issue comics. Everything is easy to find and well organized.

Very helpful staff. A bit hard to find but with so many shops closed in Anderson I can understand the location choice. Big space, lots of table top gaming areas, vintage gaming systems for sale. Just about a bit of everything you could need.

Great staff, friendly environment, comparable prices. Ive been going here for quite a while and they have been consistent in their prices and selection. They have pretty good events and decent prize pools for said events.

Great store! Well stocked. Large selection of current and back issues, games, toys, etc. I love the new location, they just need to get their old sign put up on the outside.

Great place for comics. No vaping allowed in the shop. If they dont have it, they will try to get what you are looking for.
