This place is terrible, and although I work within walking distance to this store, I wont be shopping there again. I am a manager of a retail store and have worked retail for over 6 years. I know what customer service is, and isnt. Maybe I am unaccustomed to the whole " yearly planner retail merchandising plan" but I bought a planner in August and once I got home and wrote on one of the days I realized that the planner was for the following year instead of the current year. When I realized that the $25 planner I bought was for next year I attempted to exchange it for the current year. The sweet sales associate let me know that she couldnt return it because one of the pages had been written on. She offered to let me talk to a manager who said there was nothing he could do because I had "Defaced" the book and it was unsaleable. I now understand why Barnes & Noble is on the top 5 lists of many "worst places to do returns." I am pretty sure that this billion dollar company wouldnt be hurting to let a customer swap a planner that was purchased by mistake but hey.... I guess thats how you become a billion dollar company... They now have my money and I have a planner that is useless until next year. I will be visiting OfficeMax to spend more money in hopes that my experience is better.

Clean and organized. We had no trouble finding what we wanted. The line did grow rather quickly while we were there, but I didnt see additional employees jump on a register to alleviate the issue. I am a bit disappointed in the trend of B&N to shift from books to toys, but thats the nature of todays marketplace, I suspect.

Awesome service and sales. Theyre all friendly and the staff has a life about them usual to Barnes and Noble. I go out of my way to come to this store sometimes, just because I enjoy the Summit and this beautiful store!

I very much enjoy this Barnes & Noble, its got a huge selection of book and also Starbucks coffee. After a long day of shopping at the Summit, its a fun place to relax and grab a coffee!

Great books store. Only one I go to anymore. They always hold little events, like meet and greets with authors and such. They also have a little cafe. Friendly and helpful staff

Im a huge book nerd and while its nice to read books on E-Devices there is something to be said for owning the book yourself and buying it from a brick and mortar store
