I walked in here with a necklace I came upon whilst cleaning out my room for the winter. I went to the store, never having been to a place like this before. I had to be buzzed in and out, not a problem though because they were paying attention and had me buzzed in before I could even knock or anything. The man at the counter was a little preoccupied with bagging gold or something of the like. He told me to take a seat and get something to drink. They had a mini-fridge stocked with all kinds of good stuff. Perrier water, arnold palmers, red bulls, just to name a few. Then after mabye 3 minutes of waiting a woman came out. Told me the price the necklace cost when originally purchased. It only took her one minute to look at it and know the exact retail price. What I got was a little less than I had expected but the service tehere was great.

I have dealt with these people for years. You may get a fair price but less than you think when you come in. Years ago I was ripped off on some gold chains I sold to John Burnett. After that I posted a negative review. I called him an hour after I realized that he scaled one chain and not the two I gave him. Anyway he told me the chains were already melted. OK So now Bryan runs the show. Almost any Certified Gold coin you bring in is not even worth melt. Dates, Mintage, Condition and Weight mean nothing to these people. If you need instant cash for your items you will receive nice new 100 dollar bills. The last coin I sold them was a MS70 certified PCGS 1 ounce US gold coin. Received 50 dollars less than melt. Try Distinctive Coins or Fox Valley Coins.

These guys are sharks hiding behind a nice facade in a upscale neighborhood, they don,t want to buy your jewelry, they want to steel it! I showed them a jewelry lot which I was offered in two pawn shops more than double what they offered me to buy it for! Be aware! Dont go there if you want a fair price, they will try to rip you off!

They offered me only $300 for my jewelry. When I said that I had been offered more elsewhere, the woman threw my jewelry back in its case and said "Well, it doesnt weigh very much". Like Im naive, and hadnt done any research before selling my gold. I went to James & Sons in Olympia Fields and sold it for almost $700.
