I and my wife went to pick up something at this JC Penney recently. We were there to buy some curtains and accessories. They had an excellent selection of stuff. However, our experience was killed by the customer services. JCPenney draperies section is exclusively handled by specialized staff. Which means if there is one person working there and that person is busy, you have to wait wait and wait. All we needed was to check if there is inventory in the backroom for a particular curtain we liked. We waited for nearly 30 - 45 minutes to be paid little or no attention to. On top of that, when we did get attention, it was very rude and abrupt behavior from the lady there. In a competitive world (and for a company that is struggling), this is the last thing that JC Penney requires - poor attitude and customer service. We walked to the sears in the other end of the Hawthorn center and bought what we wanted. JCPs loss, Searss win. While you may have tons of good stuff, what you also need is good attitude and behavior to sell things. Sorry JCP, no wonder your fortunes are sliding.

I went to kenosha jcpenney store at cosmetic department to buy a lipstick and I felt they are horrible service. A big woman talk to me and she is very disrespect customers. I wrote here to reminder her who pay for you for the salary and I hope her manager should retaining her tell her how to make customers are satisfied.

The best customer service Ive had in a while. Tatiana was wonderful! She made our furniture purchase very quick. She was also very concerned if we were sure the sectional would fit in the room it was going in. Great professional service. Thanks again Tatiana.

Staff is very friendly but the PBS system there is horrible. Hello welcome to 2016 Jenny. It should not have to take 3 associate and 2 phone calls to look for a recept on something bought on a jcpenny card.

Very poor scheduling I came at 130 and they said appointment is at 1 and so did not go ahead. Why is the phone number asked if it is not used to confirm appointment times

JCPenney store, we also like going here for the portrait studio on the lower level.The staff is very nice, and takes good pictures.
