Tried to buy a treadmill. "Tried" being the operative word. After sitting in front of the display models for fifteen minutes without a person passing by, I began to wonder exactly how much they wanted to make a sale. Clearly I was interested, unfortunately they dont stock salesmen who want to do their job at this particular location. Finally I flagged someone down who begrudgingly told me they would find a person who worked in this particular department. After another ten minutes someone showed up to ask which one I wanted. I thought it was a nice sales pitch, dont tell the customer anything about any particular product you represent, just ask where they want to throw their money. I did my research beforehand, knew they were one of the few places to stock nordictrack, and picked out a highly reviewed model on sale. Went through the paperwork and scheduled a delivery, with a guarantee they would deliver in the evening when I would be off work. SURPRISE SURPRISE, Sears does not guarantee delivery times! I was routed to some East Indian Sears representative who tried to reschedule for yet another time when I would be at work. To make a long story short, this company sucks. They know they suck. They dont care about you. They dont give a crap what you think. The employees make a little over minimum and live off commission. They, in all likelihood, hate their job, hate their company, and hate you for shopping there. The policies arent made to convenience you, and frankly, the brands they stock have taken a steep decline in quality. One day after cancelling my order and saving $1,000, I went out and bought a treadmill from a reputable company who worked around my schedule and had it in my home the next day. No $100 delivery charge, no $168 warranty, no price breaks around an already overpriced product. Im done with Sears. Ive shopped there sparingly before and I wont be shopping there ever again. They tried to give me a 10% coupon for their mistakes and I laughed it off. What am I going to spend it on? Overpriced crap? No thanks. Ill go to real companies that still care about the customer.

All the employees on the floor were so energetic and kind, always willing to help me out and even chat for awhile. Every time I go in there, Im greeted by such happy faces, as well as asked by numerous people if I need help. Last time I was in there I was merely walking through and found myself being asked by 4 separate employees how I was doing and if I needed help. Most stores I go into, Im lucky if even one person acknowledges me. I have only two complaints about this store, the cashiers are often rude and pushy, making it very clear they dont want you there. Ive only had 1 pleasant cashier in the time ive gone there. The other is the lack of caring in the outdoors department. My fiancee and I were looking for tents, however were unable to find any. When we asked someone, the man told us they didnt sell them and we should go to Gander mountain. Shortly after, I saw a large display that listed all the tents they do sell as well as my fiancee went to a kiosk and found some from sears online. That employee wasnt even willing to try. I wont be purchasing any of my camping supplies from there, however, I do still enjoy shopping there thanks to the amazing MCs. Thank you guys for making this an amazing place to shop!

I bought a Craftsman nail gun a little over a year ago. Never used it until today. I attached to my air compressor and....NOTHING!!!! I CALLED the 800 # and was told to bring it to the store. I thought that rather than run in circles I would call first at which time Loopè said to bring it in and that wed look up my credit cards unless its defective they would replace it. So I go into the Sears store only to be told by a cross eyed 20 year employee...no no we cant do anything, we dont test, we only sell tools we dont know our products.. ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING!!?? 20 years working in tool Department and not one employee knew squat a out tools or air compressors.. when I asked for somebody higher up, a man came and said I could have 10% off if I buy a different nail gun. I ASKED asked if ANYBODY could give me info on the Briggs & Stratton compressor/ combo and the woman looked at Every employee and said "you dont know anything about these do you??" As each employee said no to her questions, I went to find a customer with knowledge. No Luck!! Lazy Ignorance!! Such a Shame that Sears/ Craftsman too a BIG FLUSH!! Sears at SOUTHRIDGE MALL has Horrible customer service! I will No Longer buy from them!

My washer broke so I used my warantee to get a new one. 5 visits to my home, the Sears repair department were less than disappointing. The delivery guys unplugged my deep freeze accidentally. I spent a few days on the phone getting put on hold, transfered and hung up on.I finally get a manager who says hes going to investigate the situation. During this "investigation" no one speaks to me, visits my home or asks for pictures. I Call back 2 weeks later and get told the investigation is over, case is closed and they arent at fault. When I asked what was done during this investigation, I was simply told its closed and there is nothing else to talk about. I will never waste my time and money on such a disgusting business again. They take no responsibility for themselves and blow off problems. Im a single mom and cant afford this.

Soooo I ordered a tool box for pick up and I wasnt able to pick it up and tried calling them to see if someone can pick it up for me. (You can choose who can pick it up for you at checkout but I put it down as for ME to pick it up). So then I tried going back and see if I can switch it to someone to pick it up but it didnt let. So I tried calling EVERY DEPARTMENT and literally no one picks up. Tried callING for 40 minutes and finally someone picks up. Person who picked up gave me an attitude when I said no one picked up. Smh VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

went for a piece of exercise equipment and the sales rep was very apathetic and clearly didnt want to be at work. I asked him to put it on a cart so I could get it to my car, he suggested that I pick it up from them and they would load it, went to pay for it and he asked me three times for my phone number which I didnt have at the time- only my work phone on me at the time, and new personal number. I was so upset I just left because clearly he was too lazy to load it on a cart for me.

Purchased a washer machine and paid extra for delivery. It was not delivered. Called the store and no response. The phone gets disconnected after 7 rings. No one can explain about the delivery. No one answers the phone after 8 tries. Manager does not pick up the line. Truly very disappointed with service from Sears. You have to go through in automated line and each time you are transferred and disconnected. This is awful.
