ABOLSUTELY HATED IT. worst experience EVER! i brought my car in for a simple warranty alignment when they opened on a sunday at 10am. around 1pm i drove past to check in on the status of my car and to my dismay it hadnt moved from where i had originally parked it. almost four more hours and two BS phone calls later I CALLED THEM a half hour before they closed at 5pm and they told me that the got it up on the alignment rack and found they could not adjust anything due to seized bolts. first off it took them 7 hours to tell me they could do nothing. second, i find it all to be complete horse s*** because two weeks prior i had my car in at the aurora sears for an alignment and they adjusted EVERYTHING without a problem. Gurnee sears auto employees are a bunch of lying a**holes who dont understand the meaning of professionalism and customer service. ill be sure to tell everyone i can to steer clear of this hell hole. Immediately after this experience i called customer service to file a complaint and its been a full week and ive still heard nothing from any sears rep. what the f***

I just left The Sears Grand at Gurnee Mills. I needed to add to my tool collection and Craftsman has generally been my preferred brand because of their warranty and return policy. On this occasion I purchased the GearWrench 24 piece set and a pair of AmpLify casual flops that satisfied my extremely picky opinion. Overall I will rate this experience almost the highest possible because I couldnt find anything wrong with my brief time spent there other than the tool selection has dwindled from years past and few are MADE IN AMERICA any longer. I tried to get an exchange for a shirt that costed $14. I bought a gray shirt and decided the color blue would be better and more professional for work. I was told by the store managers and representatives that I could not exchange the same shirt for a different color, even though the shirt was brand new and still in its original packaging just because, I was 1 day over the 30 day return period. Im really upset because all their competitors would have exchanged the shirt and most likely congratulate me on my new job. In all honesty- I CANT WAIT Forever OR THEM TO CLOSE DOWN SO THEY CAN BE REPLACED WITH STORES THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. GOOD-BYE SEARS. YOU WILL NOT BE MISSED.

Had worst store experience. Almost every time. Too much time to checkout, hope they are using FoxPro or Lotus 1-2-3 system. The systems crash often and they have to do billing again from beginning. Even return a item will take 10-20 minutes even no one in the line. I never handed over my credit card to any store associate to verify for a return. But Sears associates / managers took my card into their office and verified (!) for minutes. Come on Sears! NEVER gonna visit this Sears store. If you are in hurry then please Dont visit this store.

i just talked to someone who supposed to schedule an repair appointment for dryer repair , the guy that picked up the phone had an american name - but couldnt spell it out. Ouch what a shame. The guy phone sears repair department tells me - he dont like my attitude - i am the customer and he is not - what poor quality customer service. hope the repair guy is at least knowledgeable for the repair.The phone customer rep - is not poor - fair , its a failure.

It took over 2 hours to install 4 tires. Actually it took about 30 minutes to install 4 tires. My car sat outside while 4 men took 3 smoke breaks for the first 90 minutes and then finally worked on it. The best part is that my car was one of 2 cars being serviced at the same time. Very disappointed with a company that could use any customer it can get but it just lost mine plus my extended families.

It was horrible...... I was just there yesterday I was waiting in line. For like 13 min. To return a christmas gift given to my daughter as an exchange .the customer service was temp closed. Anyway da cashier said i couldnt return or exchange anything unless a had a receipt . or anyform of payment... Other stores dont ask for that. Never goin there again *!!!! -> waste of my precious time

I have purchased 2 coats online and didnt like the fit. Wanted to return, and what you know, was unable to get through to the Returns online. Each try and click gets me nowhere. Its after hours now, too late to call on the phone, but will do first thing tomorrow. Will never purchase clothing online ever again. A lesson learned.

Called 4 times to Sears grand in Gurnee, automated system said say department you want I tried fitness and appliances and got hung up on. Then I tried and got their support line and got hung up on. Cannot understand how a retail giant can have a phone system thats a flop.

Gurnee Sears check out is very slow. Usually only 1 lane is open. Employees are good and helpful but the check-out process seems very inefficient. Also the long list of unwanted coupons printed with receipt are a pain and receipts are hard to read.

Store closes at 7pm on Sundays even though the sign at the door says 9pm and so does their website. If they want to change their hours wouldnt the first thing be to change the signs on the front door??? Waste of time Ill go to target

Been to many sears before and this sears is abnormally large and has a great selection of products.. just dont be fooled by some of their clearance products it isnt that great price wise
